Due to the caregiver in charge not doing certain protocols my son was completely forgotten, strapped to a seat on the bus. Additionally no other staff member raised any alarms so they also did not follow protocols. At 4:50 my husband arrived at the facility and was told " we don't know, we haven't seen him since that morning". Once my husband threatened to call the police did they start looking for my baby. My son was located 12 minutes later. He was crying flushed drenched in sweat, hungry and thirty. As a mom who could have lost her baby for the negligence of this daycare, I am furious. My baby is now seeing a counselor for nightmares.

This provided many hours of developing a skill for internal contemplation. Also, I got very good at kicking the same rock to school and then home. I'm not sure how useful a review of an institution I attended well over a decade will be; perhaps you want to know how your children will turn out. I was here when they changed from the Brooks Badgers to the Brooks Bears. I think that helped me realize as an eight-year-old that mascots are bullshit. I learned to "just say no" here and have since said no at least two-thousand times. I developed my first crushes here and they never resulted in any teen pregnancies. I learned to ford a river, kill buffalo, and bury my sister who died of malaria playing a mess of Oregon Trail. I've never been arrested, so they must have taught me how to commit crimes and cover my tracks. Kidding. Sort of. An on-site vegetable garden taught me that you can eat raw beans. Or anything green and in a garden, really. I am actively involved in my community and spend time crime-fighting thanks to the superhero appreciation day in the fifth grade. That's probably a false memory, but at least I'm crime-fighting and that's what counts. I would give this five stars, but there were two huge drug busts in houses within a quarter mile of the school within the last few years. Also, I'm still bitter that I got away without actually learning long division. Then again, I made it through college without learning long division and every gadget invented in the past ten years comes with a calculator anyway.

Aarti is an EOE nurse whom I communicate with often has made me feel content leaving my baby, Courtney makes me feel comfortable too and she I think is the schools LVN? I could be wrong though but she works with my baby too throughout the day. I also feel even more content when my daughter comes home and tells me about her day and has nothing bad to say. Seems like their students are all well behaved and respectful. My daughter's teacher even sends me emails here and there with updates regarding her day and behavior which is another stress reliever. I had found out my children were going to this school , I PROVIDED ALL INFORMATION SHOWING I AM THEIR MOTHER AND THEY'VE BEEN IN MY CARE (the father had his girlfriend on all the records for the school claiming she was the children's mother) this school asked for no type of proof , RECORDS, ANYTHING! I informed them they can call law enforcement (I had all proper documentation) just for the school to call their dad to immediately pick them up . This made it so much MORE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE MY CHILDREN AND CONFIRM THEIR SAFETY! This school IS HORRIBLE AND SAFETY IS NOT A PRIORITY AT ALL! The school must realize they were VERY WRONG because I pulled my children out of the school after involving Folsom Police in an effort to locate my children AFTER ALL THIS MESS ! They're fortunate I don't get an attorney and sue the school district for negligence. My child attended this preschool from August to December 2024, and as a parent of a child on the spectrum, I was hopeful and optimistic about his experience. I communicated my son's struggles with new environments to Jennifer, who assured me that everything would be fine. While my son did have a challenging start, after three weeks, he began to adjust and thrive. We received weekly pictures and kind messages from Jennifer, which reassured me during tougher days. However, a few months in, I noticed unsettling changes in my son's behavior. As any parent of a child on the spectrum knows, regression can happen for various reasons, and I initially attributed it to illness and the challenges of being around new peers. I tried to address these behaviors at home, relying on strategies I learned from his previous occupational therapist. Then, an alarming incident occurred. After picking him up one day, my son revealed that a classmate--whom we'll refer to as Student A--had hit him. When I asked if he informed the teacher, he said yes, and described how Student A could be both nice and mean. I didn't think much of it at the time, believing the teachers had handled the situation. But then, on December 29, everything changed. My son came to me in distress, saying that Student A was bullying him, throwing things at him, and even touching him inappropriately. He confided that he hadn't told me sooner because he feared that Student A would come to our house and harm us and our dog. Shockingly, he said this threat originated from his teacher. My son was in turmoil, hyperventilating and terrified of the repercussions of speaking out. This incident has fundamentally altered my son's ability to play and interact with others, not only at school but even at the park. We immediately brought this to Jennifer's attention, as well as to our son's doctor. While Jennifer initially reached out, I later sent her a detailed email outlining the entire incident, yet to this day, I have not received a response. I filed a report, but the unfortunate reality is that the young ages of the children involved make it difficult to pursue any action--especially when the teachers deny any wrongdoing. It's disheartening and infuriating. My son has been profoundly affected by this experience, requiring therapy and now grappling with trauma that could have been prevented. I urge parents to carefully consider their options when selecting a preschool. Ensure that your child will be protected and supported. My son deserved better, and no child should have to endure what he went through. Please, take this into account when making your decision. Your child's safety and well-being depend on it. I'm also willing to show anyone proof of the messages that were sent back and forth to Jennifer ( the messages contain more details of the incident that happened)
