When I first started getting crowns done in Feb of 2014, they were using one type of Crown material and the next time I went back it as another, they ended up replacing most if not all the original crowns under warranty. In June of 2016, I had I believe 7 Crowns done at once, due to the extreme wear that I had, we needed to build my teeth back and I was told I could add to and take away as needed for proper fit. Which sounded great with the information that I was given at the time; I can tell you it was very painful, and I will never do that again. Of those crowns, most has come off and were replaced with the newer product. Now those same crowns are breaking and I'm having to replace them again at my cost. I was led to believe these crowns were permanent not temporary. Most crowns are less than 7

While working as a sales person who travels a lot you always worry that something will happen that…read morewill require immediate medical attention. Luckily it wasn't anything major or life threatening but when a tooth breaks in half while working in a very small town in Georgia, what's a girl to do? After making a few calls the God's must have been with me because they led me to Dr. Childress and his wonderful team. As I made the 25 minute drive to LaGrange from where I was working, I wasn't sure what to expect. But as I walked in I was pleased to a modern office, nicely decorated and was greated by a very warm staff. After a thurough exam the Dr. and his team gave me my treatment and payment options. As I was 4 weeks from getting my new dental insurance I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. I decided to take the best option which was a full crown and was thrilled to see and hear that the Dr. has a new camera and comupter that actually creates the crown right there in his office while I waited. How wonderful to not have to return for that dreaded second visit and not to mention no nasty blue goo process! If you are searching for a new Dentist and not sure where to turn, this truly was the best dental experience I have ever had. All the way down to the Dr. calling me personally the next day to check on me. First class all the way! Many Kudo's to you Dr. Childress to you and your team! Karen G.

The doctor has been missing appointments and I have uncompleted dental work that I'm going to have to get another dentist to complete. I've paid them and they are AWOL at this office. The Doctor and receptionist are together but the receptionist does not even have a clue but Doctor would listen to her. The Doctor is incompetent. I paid for the entire procedure that is needed to be done which was broken down by the doctor himself and I paid it off as asked including insurance. Now whenever I go there for the same procedure, the receptionist comes up with extra charge all the time which we were already informed that there will no more charge as its already been paid. The doctor will not work on my teeth as he needs more money but they can't tell me for what as all they needed was already paid for. Since Doctor did not work on my teeth it caused me a lot of trouble over the long weekend. Caused my blood pressure to go so high that I had to go to my family doctor and he stated that my blood pressure is at stroke level due to the severe pain in one of my teeth which caused swelling which cause my mouth to be crooked. My doctor stated that the if my blood pressure will not go down it can paralyze me and my mouth will not be straight and it will stay crooked. All because the doctor wanted to listen to his receptionist who is just plain dumb. I will take this doctor to the court for the wrongdoing and for the malpractice.

I have been to other dentist, but they never did anything about it. Knowing what I know now, there was nothing that they could have done. What this dentist did was to drill away the enamel from four of my teeth (lower) inciscers, put some bonding material on my teeth. I thought that, that was a permanent fix, big mistake. That stuff have came off leaving my teeth looking worse than ever. This has caused me a lot of stress. I was always self conscious about my teeth. I regret the day I went to this dentist, it have not been a good experience. To repair the damage she has done to my teeth is going to be very expensive.

First off, I've never been to a dentist that didn't do an exam and cleaning same day, well they don't, they did the exam and then scheduled a "deep cleaning" for a future date.... Second, they couldn't get my blood pressure right but I can confidently tell you it's because they didnt have me sitting correctly to take blood pressure, I wasn't comfortable. Third, they roped me into opening a care credit card because they said after insurance the cleaning was still going to cost me $1800. Well I had the discernment to sit and think before having the deep cleaning that would have cost me $1800 and canceled before the appointment because my insurance covers 100% of preventative and restorative services with a $25 copay. Went to Pine Mountain Family Dentistry and paid my $25 copay and got my DEEP CLEANING that my insurance COVERED 100%. They also didn't take my blood pressure before doing the cleaning, and now that I think of it no dentist has except for my root canal and my wisdom teeth removal so i dont know that was weird too. So i dont know WTF they were charging me but I'm glad my intuition kicked in because I was going to schedule my husband too and they probably were going to do the same thing to him. Would have gotten $3200 out of us, on top of what they would have gotten from our insurance.
