When I first started getting crowns done in Feb of 2014, they were using one type of Crown material and the next time I went back it as another, they ended up replacing most if not all the original crowns under warranty. In June of 2016, I had I believe 7 Crowns done at once, due to the extreme wear that I had, we needed to build my teeth back and I was told I could add to and take away as needed for proper fit. Which sounded great with the information that I was given at the time; I can tell you it was very painful, and I will never do that again. Of those crowns, most has come off and were replaced with the newer product. Now those same crowns are breaking and I'm having to replace them again at my cost. I was led to believe these crowns were permanent not temporary. Most crowns are less than 7

Luckily it wasn't anything major or life threatening but when a tooth breaks in half while working in a very small town in Georgia, what's a girl to do? After making a few calls the God's must have been with me because they led me to Dr. Childress and his wonderful team. As I made the 25 minute drive to LaGrange from where I was working, I wasn't sure what to expect. But as I walked in I was pleased to a modern office, nicely decorated and was greated by a very warm staff. After a thurough exam the Dr. and his team gave me my treatment and payment options. As I was 4 weeks from getting my new dental insurance I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. I decided to take the best option which was a full crown and was thrilled to see and hear that the Dr. has a new camera and comupter that actually creates the crown right there in his office while I waited. How wonderful to not have to return for that dreaded second visit and not to mention no nasty blue goo process! If you are searching for a new Dentist and not sure where to turn, this truly was the best dental experience I have ever had. My children and I had been going to this office for years. I don't know what has happened, but…read morewithin the last 4 months, everything has gone down hill. The doctor has been missing appointments and I have uncompleted dental work that I'm going to have to get another dentist to complete. I've paid them and they are AWOL at this office. Sound like fraud to me. Don't waste your time even thinking of going to this dentist, because apparently they are not reliable to do the work anymore.

I paid for the entire procedure that is needed to be done which was broken down by the doctor himself and I paid it off as asked including insurance. Now whenever I go there for the same procedure, the receptionist comes up with extra charge all the time which we were already informed that there will no more charge as its already been paid. The doctor will not work on my teeth as he needs more money but they can't tell me for what as all they needed was already paid for. Since Doctor did not work on my teeth it caused me a lot of trouble over the long weekend. Caused my blood pressure to go so high that I had to go to my family doctor and he stated that my blood pressure is at stroke level due to the severe pain in one of my teeth which caused swelling which cause my mouth to be crooked. My doctor stated that the if my blood pressure will not go down it can paralyze me and my mouth will not be straight and it will stay crooked. All because the doctor wanted to listen to his receptionist who is just plain dumb. I will take this doctor to the court for the wrongdoing and for the malpractice.

I have been to other dentist, but they never did anything about it. Knowing what I know now, there was nothing that they could have done. What this dentist did was to drill away the enamel from four of my teeth (lower) inciscers, put some bonding material on my teeth. I thought that, that was a permanent fix, big mistake. That stuff have came off leaving my teeth looking worse than ever. This has caused me a lot of stress. I was always self conscious about my teeth. I regret the day I went to this dentist, it have not been a good experience. To repair the damage she has done to my teeth is going to be very expensive.
