I got lots of advice and suggestions from Myles who drew a couple of custom pieces for me. The price I paid was second to none considering how close this studio is to London. They also have a couple of other tattoo artists and someone who does piercings. I would highly recommend a trip to Cherrys to check out Myles work. I booked the appointment and paid a £20 deposit and only when I got the confirmation stating the address in Ilford I realised the mistake and cancelled the booking within 7 min (this was late night so wouldn't get picked up by the shop immediately anyway) I was aware of the non refundable deposit but due to the nature of the mistake I was confident that I could call them up next day and explain and get the £20 refunded. It took 40 min for someone to pick up and after explaining the issue the phone was passed to a manager. The lady I talked to was rude and hostile throughout the whole conversation. She told me it wasn't her problem and not her mistake and how it couldn't be possible. I told her that I would take a video clip of me being directed to the website by google so she could see how I couldn't have known. After reviewing the video she comes to the same conclusion that it wasn't her problem and she wouldn't give me the money. I haven't used this tattooist but I'm officially still a paying customer because if this incident and I have never experienced customer service so poor. I tried to explain and not blaming them just asking nicely for a refund but she wasn't having it. Wouldn't recommend doing business with this kind of shady business.

My sister came in getting…read more a tattoo done and while she was getting it done I was distracting her as she's not fond of needles, instead of receiving support or understanding, she was met with an unprofessional, dismissive, and downright unsympathetic attitude. The manager not only lacked empathy but also made her feel unwelcome, as though her needs and situation were insignificant. A tattoo shop should be a space where people can express themselves and find comfort through art, but this place fell far short of that. The lack of compassion was shocking, and it's clear that the manager has no interest in making customers feel heard or valued. If you're looking for a tattoo studio with staff who actually care about their clients and treat them with basic respect, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of better shops in town where kindness, professionalism, and customer care are a priority. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs. Not to forget he was having a full blown conversation with his previous client!
