It was a fairly short gig (1hr), but I was on a budget. After calling 4 other businesses, (one of whose price was outrageous, another who didn't work during the holiday season), I found Jessica. She quoted me $200 for both characters (including changing costume time) which was perfect for the budget. The service was great! Jess went above and beyond what I expected for the price, and played games with the kids. The boys gravitated to Santa (which I expected), but Elsa and Santa's presence really made the party more fun and family friendly. I would highly recommend her, and will use her again next year. The Elsa character looked great.

A little overdue but I hope this is well worth the wait!…read more I attended a Christmas toy drive and gift wrapping event that Sonnia organized. I enjoy events like these as I love to gift wrap especially for those who need it the most. This event was to provide underprivileged children in East Bay schools a gift for Christmas and whats awesome was, this was hosted by TWO organizations who decided to do a joint thing and get all the help they could get. TONS of volunteers attended, about 4-6 at a table, each table assigned to a school, about 6 schools total, and don't forget those organizing the event! Sonnia and the hosts kept everything running smoothly. Everyone had a goal, everyone got it done. We were never short of wrapping paper, the toys kept coming, the mountain of presents kept growing. Water, light lunch, and snacks were also provided, which was great because wrapping gifts take tons of energy especially when you're a gift wrapping pro like me (harhar). All the presents were wrapped by 3pm, an hour sooner than expected! I understand how mentally draining organizing an event can be (no matter how awesome) so the 5+ years of volunteer staff in me stayed to help clear out the room. Even this ran smoothly... We were done in about an hour with very few of us left. It's amazing what a group of strangers could do with their time, especially those not getting paid and just doing it for the cause. For this to have gone well would have to be through great coordinating and organization... To make sure volunteers are happy to help is to make sure they are ~happy~ to help. I've attended a similar event organized by those with deeper pockets and the amount of attention and care is in no way the same quality that Sonnia put together (no light dinner or snacks for an after work event??? short on supplies??? c'mon.........). Sonnia is instead thoughtful and on top of it, from the set up, logistics, to the breakdown. I'm all about giving back so I'd be super honored to attend another event! When the time comes to have my own event, I'll definitely connect with Sonnia and The Give Back Act. Thank you for being so awesome!

We found Jenni late into our planning process after having issues with our original planner. With…read moreless than a year until the wedding we were stressed about making a change but it was the best decision we could have possibly made for our wedding. Previously we felt like our planner was too busy for us and that we were just another thing on her list that she could hardly remember anything about us, but with Jenni it felt like every time we met, or even between meetings just through texts or emails, that we were the center of her attention. She had every detail handled even those that we had no idea to think about. She took our loosely scattered wedding plans and put them together flawlessly to create our perfect wedding. We had a destination wedding weekend with multiple events, and my husband and I spent the whole weekend asking each other if we could even imagine what the weekend would be like without Jenni and thanking God we decided to make the switch! Jenni was more than just a dedicated and hands on planner/coordinator, she's also a talented artist/designer and, the best part, a great friend to spend time with. She made multiple trips to Cabo, where our wedding was, to be sure things were perfect despite us not being able to be there. I knew nothing about wedding planning when we started, and I have no eye for design or even planning whatsoever, but if I have any advice for those starting to plan it is that a wedding planner is by far the most important factor. Having worked with a subpar planner and then switching to Jenni I have first hand experience in planning under both circumstances and would say that the best decision we made for our wedding is making the switch. Jenni is truly dedicated to her clients and their events, and I could not recommend anyone more highly!

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Jenni and Taylor for organizing the perfect wedding day…read morefor us. From the moment we met Jenni, we knew that she was the right planner for us, and going with her and her team was by far the most important decision we made. At first, we thought we could plan our wedding on our own, but as busy early-career professionals, we quickly realized we needed someone we could trust completely to carry out our vision without too much oversight. Jenni offered exactly that. From our first meeting, we felt listened to and could tell that she genuinely understood what we wanted out of the wedding and knew exactly how to handle the mountain of tasks necessary to make that vision a reality. Throughout the planning process, Jenni made it possible for us to plug into and out of planning as needed, and at every check-in, we were amazed by how much progress she made. It was not uncommon for us to raise questions or needs at these check-ins only for her to tell us that she had anticipated them and handled them exactly how we would've wanted. Without Jenni, we simply could not have had the wedding we had. Since Jenni is so experienced and beloved by vendors and venues she's worked with, she was able to curate a team that perfectly matched our taste. There's no way we would've found our venue--which was nothing short of magical--without Jenni, because the owners of the venue don't host many weddings but have a personal relationship to Jenni, so the venue is not something generic you would find on Google or wedding venue sites. Also, all of our vendors had worked with Jenni before and, as a result, had either worked with each other or at the venue before. This made the wedding that much better because the vendors were comfortable and familiar with each other and with the venue, so they could better focus on their work and have fun while doing so. If you want a wedding that uniquely reflects your relationship, choose Jenni, who has the connections to make that possible. If it's any indication, every vendor we worked with praised Jenni and told us how lucky we were to have the best wedding planner. Nothing phased Jenni. She is incredibly organized and a spreadsheet master. Having attended our share of weddings as guests, we have definitely come across planners that seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Jenni is the complete opposite of that. Jenni handled everything that came our way with grace, levity, and a smile. The day before our wedding, Jenni remarked that "Nothing scares me anymore," and that is 100% true from everything we observed. At no point throughout the planning process or the wedding did Jenni make us feel stressed. She only ever made us feel calmer because we knew that the wedding was in good hands and that we did not need to worry. What makes Jenni special is that she is also the loveliest person on top of being a master wedding planner. You can tell that she loves her work and genuinely cares for her clients. During the rehearsal and wedding, she made the effort to speak with our family members and friends, and everyone loved her instantly and could tell that the wedding was going to be incredible in her capable hands. Having her as a wedding planner often felt like having an old friend taking care of things for you. We sincerely cannot imagine a better wedding planner than Jenni. The smartest wedding planning decision you can make is to hire Jenni and her team. Trust us, you won't regret it!

We were initially one of those couples who questioned if we even needed a planner at first, but as soon as we brought her on, we knew it was going to be a game changer. Camille's industry knowledge was truly astounding - she recommended amazing vendors and made the whole event run seamlessly. Because of Camille, we both felt incredibly present all day and didn't worry about a thing. I know we wouldn't have been able to relax and truly enjoy the day the way we did without Camille at the reigns. She really got to know us and our priorities early in the process, and armed with that knowledge, was able to suggest ways to maximize our budget while still hitting on all the things we cared about. On top of her logistic and executional excellence, she is naturally very good with people. Her calming presence set everyone at ease, and she was even great with the kids who were our flower girls and ring bearers. Camille also has amazingly high EQ. I think she could tell when we were getting decision fatigue about certain items, and always seemed to somehow know when to step in with a suggestion or opinion vs letting us lead the charge. Camille went above and beyond in every way I can think of. Just hire her, seriously.

Right off the bat, she understood our style and the type of wedding we wanted to plan. She showed a genuine interest and offered sincere suggestions which we really appreciated. With it being wedding season and all, we never once felt her attention divide. We can not thank her enough for being engaged and on top of everything. As a bride who has never dreamed up a wedding as a child, we were kind of just pulling random pins in hopes it would all come together. Rom was really supportive of all our major DIY projects and even scheduled touch bases to help keep us on track. We commend her patience and positive attitude throughout the entire adventure-- which I have to mention was tested during our ride from the hotel to the venue! With a storage mishap, each of the bridesmaids literally held a layer of our four tiered wedding cake in lap as we steadily drove all while keeping with the timeline schedule. Let me just say how comforting it was, Rom was completely calm and collected ensuring me the cake would be assembled without worry. In my head, I'm just praying we don't run over a speed bump and butter cream her entire interior! The level of dedication we received from Rom and VME on our wedding day was above and beyond anything we expected! The communication between all our vendors alongside the VME team was consistent from start to finish. Throughout the day we even received compliments from our guests on their professionalism and how well each series of events was executed and transitioned to the next. It was clear all parties involved were on the same page. Number one wedding day advice: spend a moment with each other to just take it all in.
