I'm never dissapointed when I go there! I usually go during the day, because in the evening it's quite crowded and loud. If you like to hear great music, then go at night. I don't mind it, I just prefer lunch time over there. The staff is super friendly and the decor is quite fun. Let's just say, that they don't call it "jack saloon" for nothing. The service can be a bit slow sometimes. The food is great. I've been there a couple of times and I always try something different. I recently tried the Outlaw : fried chicken waffles. Realllly good!

I went here for a friend's birthday supper. I was expecting it to have a country vibe, since it's called "Jack Saloon" but it was a mishmash of trendy hipster, with a lot of classic rock tunes playing over top. The service was quick and friendly, even though we were late for our reservation. They did make sure to remind us multiple times that we had to be done with our table by 8, but I guess that's understandable since we were late, and another group was coming in. We had to wait a while for our food, which means I had to rush a bit more, and didn't get to finish my food. I had the large sized, pulled pork sandwich, which came with coleslaw and a side of fries for $16. I regret ordering the large, because the amount of meat in it was ridiculous. The bottom was very soggy and it was impossible to pick up, so I had to try and cut it into pieces. My friend just opened up the sandwich and ate the meat inside with a fork instead. From the other dishes I saw, all the sandwiches seemed to be piled sky high in a similar fashion. The pork was good, but it had a strange sweetness to it that was a bit too much. I found it lacked a bit of zest or sourness. A lot of the items on the menu are a bit pricey, especially the burgers. They also have some pretty bizarre combinations, such as an egg roll burger and the "krispy kreme" which is a burger with doughnuts used as a bun. The menu doesn't really reflect the image of a saloon.

Great place to go out, the service at the bar is excellent, the waitresses take a lot of time, not because is busy but because they are slow, prices are high, on tuesday each shot of jack is 2$.

I don't know why this place has such a low rating... I thought it was amazing! The cool decor drew me in to try it out and the super looking menu made me stay and have lunch. I had the Krispy Kreme burger because... How could I not?? It was amazing!! Definitely best burger I have ever had. My friend had the general Tao burger and was equally as impressed. The fries that came with the burger were tasty and came with a yummy mayo in a cute shot glass. The sangria we had was equally as tasty and went down very quickly :) They had tons of friendly staff who helped out whenever they could. I will definitely return on my next shopping trip to see what else they have on that interesting menu of theirs...

We were seated right away. The waitress staff was able to quickly get our orders. The only downside with the wait staff was they seemed a bit pressured for us to keep ordering though we had only stopped by for drinks and to kill time before going to another location. The drinks were delicious. The Cafe con leche was just the right consistency of creaminess without being a pudding consistency or too thick. I love the banana chips as a garnish on top. It was a nice touch. The mela mama loco was a hint of sweet and sour. The tiki takata was pretty while being deliciously tropical. The summer mule had a refreshing flavor and spritz to the drink. I really liked that the chips were thick and didn't break when trying to get a decent amount of the dip onto it. I would highly recommend to ask for the hot sauces. They have 4 varieties to try from sweet to hot. Overall would come again on an empty stomach to try other foods they have available.

I wanted to get nachos but changed my mind for a burrito bowl. Seems like a safer option also 18$ instead of 30$. Food was good, but I expected more then chipotle. 14$ for that small portion of guacamole. I know avocados are expensive...but... I didn't try a drink but they did look pretty good.

We wanted to try the Tomahawk but it wasn't on the menu so we decided to do steak on another day. To drink we ordered the apple cider. The cider was delicious and very crispy like I was eating a Cortland apple. We were served crispy bread with herb butter. The bread was crispy like toast and the butter was soft. It came with a small jar of baby dill pickles. They had a good crunch! We started with the lobster bisque. This bisque was very tasty. We could taste the lobster and it was very light; not a heavy or overly creamy soup. Pooh ordered the seafood risotto and I took the Dijon chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Pooh really enjoyed his risotto. He likes the addition of zucchini to give it a little crunch . The seafood was cooked to perfection. My chicken was super tender. I could taste the Dijon mustard. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the green beans were crispy and cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly. He apologized for not getting the wine when our meal arrived. Our only complaint was the wine. Usually the wine arrives right before the meal but our meal arrived first and we ate slowly as we waited for the wine to come. The wine arrived five minutes later and the server explained that it wasn't cold enough to give us. By the time I finished eating (because we had to wait for the wine) my potatoes were cold. We finished our evening with dessert. I had the lemon-in-a-jar and Pooh had the Crème brûlée. Pooh's crème brûlée was perfect. My lemon dessert was too sweet. The tartness of the lemon was overpowered by the sweetness of the almond crumble We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but they need to put the white wine in a cooler sooner.

I order a salmon meal. The salmon was tasteless but thankfully the sauce helped it. The mocktail was good. They had quite good amount of people there on a Sunday but definitely had open tables if I wanted to sit at a two seater but they suggested I go to the bar which is huge, but no one else was sitting there. Overall an okay spot, nice inside, my one dish was mediocre but not sure what the other dishes taste like.

The dip was served in a chipped soup bowl which had obviously been microwaved as the edges of the dip were literally hard and stuck to the sides of the bowl. My guest had a burger which was cooked so thoroughly that the meat was dry and hard and despite asking for no onions, her burger came with onions. I ordered shrimp and lobster rolls - what a mistake! No lobster, only small (I think canned) shrimp. The seafood had obviously been frozen because it was wet and completely flavourless - served on top of two hard, dry little buns. This restaurant should be ashamed of the food quality here. The service was poor - they could not possibly have cared less about my reservation for 2. Our order was taken, food was dropped off by a runner and we never saw our server until it was time for the bill - we had to ask the hostess for ketchup - no refill was offered on drinks. The decor is tired. The tables are chipped and the faux leather seats are peeling from wear. Just avoid. We were $100 for 2 people (no alcohol, only one Diet Coke), and the food was the worst I've had in a while. Yuck.
