I made a custom burger from one of the standard ones listed on the menu, and it came out pretty good. However the wait time for that said burger was a bit too long especially when it wasn't that packed. I know most burger places will cook to order, but I was expecting my burger to at least come out medium well and not fully well done, so maybe that was an oversight on my part not to ask if I can have my burger medium. I customized the cheddar and bacon burger with avocados and jalapeños; added to my order, I got?french fries with cheese and jalapeño. The cheese is more like a nacho cheese that you get on at a movie theater but it went together well. As a side note, I recommend you tried the fries with mustard. This place is a definite place to visit if you're in the area. I only gave it three starts due to long wait times and the lack of choices to fully customize a burger.

I know I looked terrible but they welcomed me in, explained any menu item I was unsure of and stayed patient as I weighed my options. Since I wasn't terribly hungry, I only ordered the sweet potato fries but the restaurant smelled delightful so I'm sure the rest of their food had to be the cause of that. There were several jars of bottle caps throughout the dining room. One gentleman was explaining a game that could be played with them and allowed me to bring a few home for a friends collection. When you enter the restaurant, you receive a plastic card that you swipe whenever you buy something. Order your appetizers and entrees at one station, swipe your card. Order your drinks at the bar (especially off their extensive craft cocktail menu), swipe your card. Go back and order gorgeous and extravagant milkshakes for dessert, swipe your card. One pays at the same desk at the entrance/exit at which one initially acquired the card. So convenient, especially for folks who are not rolling with cash and thus prefer to put the entire meal on one card but who don't want to deal with the hassle of wait service. We're adults and can walk to the appropriate station to order more, thank you very much! I love that all of the bread is made in-house and that the bakery operations are visible through glass walls from the dining area. We took a taxi to the place and it was fully packed when we arrived around noon with no available seats so we decided to go walk around the shopping district and come back later. We came back about 45 mins later and there was a couple empty tables so we decided to order. I decided to get the lunch special for €10 which included a burger, fries and with a drink or milkshake. My burger came out hot and juicy with lettuce, tomato and cheese with BBQ sauce and mayo all on a brioche bun. There was Hellman's mayo and ketchup along with Cholula hot sauce on the table. My fries were very hot and crisp so I know they just came out the fryer. I decided on a bottle of Coca Cola rather than the milkshake. My lunch was excellent in all. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. Maybe the only thing missing would be some grilled onions and pickles. This restaurant has no parking area along with most places here. The place is in a modern building and close to a shopping district. At least I can now say I had a Hamburg in Hamburg. Yea I'm corny like that.
