The check in process was smooth and the young ladies that greeted me when I walked in were really nice and helpful. After filling out my electronic paperwork I got a chance to look through the various artist books of work, and I also noticed the shop was very clean. Sarah, my tattoo artist, was really nice and completed the process effortlessly. Making sure the placement of my tattoo was exactly where I wanted and that I was happy with the finished product. From my arrival at Legacy Tattoo to the end of my session, it took about 40 minutes, which was pretty quick. I definitely plan on keeping Legacy Tattoo in mind for my next piece of body art.

I was elated to see that she was local to me. Upon our first meeting at my consultation in July 2024, I was not only warmly welcomed by the other artists who were at the shop, but really well taken care of by Amanda. When I went back for my first session a week later, I was comforted by how sanitary and clean and bright the shop is. I have been in many tattoo studios, but Legacy makes it obvious that sanitation is a top priority! I loved Amanda and the team at Legacy so much that I just went back for a second piece from her! My Medusa thigh piece was far and beyond what I could have ever imagined, and Amanda is truly one of the best! Her work speaks for itself, and I will sing her praises until I no longer have a voice. She is a consummate professional and a really wonderful and talented artist. On top of that, she is a truly lovely human. She is the only artist there that I have worked with, but the team of artists at Legacy is full of kind people who are very welcoming and personable. Other artists don't know me from Adam, but they always treat me like family when I am there. The owner, Jesse, is so funny and personable as well. I will be frequenting Legacy Tattoo (and Amanda's work) for many years and tattoos to come!

I got a small floral tattoo on the outside of my left wrist. I chose the forget me not flower as it is the state flower of Alaska and Alaska was my 50th state I visited in June. I wanted to get the tattoo IN Alaska but that did not work out. I am glad I waited until I was home because I am super satisfied. My tattoo did not take long and Brennan did a great job. My tattoo came out better than I was hoping for! The shop is clean, sanitary and has some funky décor throughout the place. This way my second tattoo here by different artists. I was happy with both. I brought my friend for her second lobe piercing. First of all the place is adorable - it's women owned and the jewelry is designed by the owner - Ashley. The gold ones are pure gold which helps justify the $150 for one piece. The only piercer is now Sydney and she was lovely. I didn't get my ears pierced but my friend who did had a great experience. They are part of the Association of American Piercers. I believe it's $75 for the piercing which is higher than I expected but things have gotten so expensive with the pandemic. They do ask for a tip upon payment. They will map dots and get your placement right. They offer saline for sale. I had a great time helping my friend get her piercing. Honestly would buy plants here. Checking in was a breeze and Dan was very nice. We were both masked and sanitized hands when I came in after he let me in. It's a neat little spot in Middle River. I enjoy knowing that their jewelry is North American sourced so it is quality. I learned things about jewelry and after care I'd never known and I've had one of my piercings for a decade now. I will definitely be back for more jewelry but also future piercings because of the vibe and the kindness shown while I was there. Knowing about the sterilization process is a big thing that they emphasize and it made me even comfortable being told what was happening every step of the way. It truly looks like a biker patch and Jeremy could not be more delighted to carry his brother with him (ashes were mixed into the ink!). The shop is fairly spacious. Tony is a great artist and very good at keeping the conversation weird so you're not aware of the time passing as he creates a masterpiece. I kept waiting for him to say that we'd have to come back some other day to have it finished, but he powered through. That must be hell on his back, spending all that time bent over, or he's part machine. Either way, I appreciate that he did finish the tattoo in one day. We're already planning to return to the shop so that I can get my own tattoo for my birthday. It will be my second, and definitely not last. I can already tell it's gonna be great.
