I said my order and the guy took it and some random girl came into the speaker and yelled at me. Idk if she had a rough day or something but she was being extremely rude. I am giving this place one star because the app will not let me give it any less. I have never been to Jack-in-the-Box before and I was so excited to try it with my friends! So I placed an order, but I placed it at the wrong Jack-in-the-Box, so we traveled longer in order to get there and we were already upset about it, not their fault. When we got there, the wait in the drive-through was already 40 minutes long and they gave us the wrong order! We ordered two regular three-piece chickens, as well as a chocolate cake and some other things. We got most of it, but we're given two three-piece hot chickens and no chocolate cake, as well as none of the condiments. When we got to the drive-through, they asked us what condiments we wanted so we told them, still did not receive condiments. Then when we brought up the chicken they looked annoyed and we were asked to pull around to get new chicken. They also said that we could keep and eat the hot chicken they gave us. We pulled around and ate our food while we waited like 20 more minutes for the chicken. And then this lady came out and started yelling at us about giving the hot chicken back and when we said we had eaten it, she got upset and gave us two regular tenders when we were owed six. Before doing that, she went inside and threw a cup like a child throws a tantrum. We ended up taking the two tenders and driving off with no condiments no chocolate cake, and no chicken that we paid for and wanted. This was an absolutely horrendous experience, and not deserved as my friends and I were being as kind as we could be given the circumstance. Will not be returning. read more

We are on a cross country road trip and since we don't have Jack in the Box in Georgia, figured that we'd stop at one right off the freeway. My wife and I grew up in the Southwest where we have them. If you aren't aware, they have a quirky menu with an array of things that don't belong together. But that's their charm? So we thought we'd stop and get a Chicken Fajita Pita and some tacos. I know that this shocking, because... it's Jack in the Box (which is generally pretty low quality) but this location was off the charts. They were out of Chicken Fajita Pitas! So I said how bout a Teriyaki Bowl. Out of em! So I ordered my tacos which were soggy and worse than I've ever seen them and I had to get a Sourdough Jack, which was messy and gross. To top it off the girl that took my order was very rude. Like it was somehow my fault that I ordered stuff they are out of. Then we ate out on the patio surrounded by people that are between panhandling and smoking crack. Do not stop or eat at this location. I was waltzing around this so called "Kansas City" when a most sensible thought entered my thinking system. There was a fast food chain in the vicinity! I could just simply walk in the facility and act like I own the place in an attempt to acquire free ingredients blended and thrown together in a pile. (AKA food, ever heard of it?) and so I proceeded to do so. Upon entering the the box (jack in the box that is) a most queer scent filled my nose. I noticed that one one rather flimsy girl was working register. With a proud smirk on my face I threw her to the ground. The one nerd in the corner shrieked but it went unnoticed. I waltzed in the back and just started taking bags of food and hiding them in rolls of fat (on my stomach). When the "manager" spawned next to my and asked the FLIP I was doing. (Obviously he said the real word) I casually said I was a new hire and he took the bait. He said "well then start blending the hamburger patties, spices and pink slime in the blender and Chuck them in some taco shells. I obliged. I threw the grub in the blender aggressively and put it on meat grinder mode. While waiting for it to finish my mouth started to water and I couldn't help myself and tore the lid off and threw the concoction in my mouth. It was delectable. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Jack in the box. The customer service was terrible. We have been dealing with masks for almost two years and yet the worker mumbled all his words. We couldn't understand a single thing he said at the window. We wanted to do three separate orders, which normally you can't do but it doesn't hurt to ask and yet when we asked he was rude about it. So I went inside and my sisters order in the drive through. I went in, ordered my food and waited 20 minutes for a double Jack, curly fries, and mini churros. And then another 10 minutes for a med drink and two Lrg waters. The person who came after me, after waiting twenty minutes for a cheeseburger and a med drink. Went up and complained and they immediately got their sandwich and drink. There were three employees and 2 of them were just standing around. My food was cold. I got there at 7:01 and left at 7:37. It was awful. Do NOT go to this location. read more

Every time I have gone to this location it has been a poor experience. Lobby is either closed, lobby is dirty or the employees are very rude. I would recommend staying far away from this location. The employees almost seem borderline racist. Was trying to eat in there today but the lobby was closed to us while others that they pick and choose are allowed in the restaurant. Literally the worst jack in the box experience of my entire life. We went to a different location because we messed up the mobile order location. Basically, we asked for sauces four times and never got them, they messed up our order and we were told to pull around and they also said we could keep the items we were given. We ate them while we were waiting on the right items because we had been waiting 40 minutes in the drive through by that point. Then, this lady comes up to our car and she gets all pissy we ate the food even though we were told, she snaps at us, goes inside and throws a cup like a toddler. Then, she comes back out and purposefully gives us 2 tenders instead of 6 which is not what we paid for. Also paid for a chocolate cake, didn't get it. MY 100th REVIEW!! And what better to ring it in, than by celebrating with Jack in the Box! The day I drove by the Jack in the Box being built, I literally got teary eyed and wanted to cry! Jack in the Box is by far the BEST fast food chain EVER! I really wish there were words to describe my love of JITB! I did go to JITB at 1:30 am a few days ago, and had to wait in the drive thru line for an hour and half... which wasn't pleasant... but I am sure after a month or so of JITB being around, all the hype will mellow out and things will be more predictable, less wait time, etc... But the 20 cars waiting an hour and a half to get a jumbo jack and some curly fries, shows you that Jack in the Box is some serious shit. Seriously GOOD shit. The location is a little bizarre, but if business keeps booming for that location the way it has been so far, it'll just be a matter of time before JITB takes over Midtown! Then Independence! And beyond!!!! Your business will bring more Jack-Joy to gals and gents all around KC. This is anything but fast food! After waiting at the drive thru, pulled away and fries were old & cold. Tried to go indoor to get fresh fries but it was closed so I pulled back around to drive thru, had to wait behind cars. 20 minutes later I'm back at the window, pick up the bag with my food and it's soaked in grease as was my car seat! I have leather seats so it wiped off but what if I had upholstered seats! What a mess. Also, I had ordered a coke with no ice and the coke had ice. I told the person, I'm assuming she was the manager, all of this and she said, "do you have a receipt ". I admit this really made me mad as she didn't even bother to give me one, so I told her that. The manager then closed the window in my face while I was still talking. I had to knock on the window to get someone's attention. I told them I wanted a refund and she slammed the window in my face again. Keep in mind English is not her 1st language & I have to repeat myself over and over again. Finally, she hands me back my debit card and receipt then slams the window shut. I pull out and check the receipt & it's not the right amount and I had told her how much it was. By now I'm so mad I can hardly contain myself as it's been 45 minutes. I pull back around & I'm finally up to the window & explain to her what the new problem was. She argued with me about what I ordered (double Bacon Swiss Burger combo) so she then pulled it out of the trash, showed it to me, again I said "it's a double". She appeared to finally get it and told me to meet her in the lobby. Drove around to the lobby, she let me in and told me I didn't have to be so rude & I told her I was really trying not to be. She credited my debit card for an egg roll to make up the difference. I will NEVER eat here again. The manager was incompetent and rude. What a waste of my time.
