I tried to not write this review with the hopes that S&A would do the right thing, but I wish…read moresomeone wrote this for me when I was looking for a home builder. I want to say that the creation process was amazing and the building process was ok, but once the house was built it has been an uphill battle with S&A, which, because they refuse to engage, will most likely sadly end in court. S&A improperly installed my radon system, which is a professional opinion the company I have hired to fix the issue. Radon is an odorless, invisible, radioactive gas naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. I contacted S&A December 2022 about the improper installation and continued to contact them throughout the year. I did not hear back from S&A until December 2023, a full year later, that they would not be fixing my radon system. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, which has helped with various other issues I have had with S&A, but that did not work this time. I don't see how S&A believes that they bear no responsibility for radon installation when that is what I paid for. Why install anything at all then? Just take the money and run if you bear no responsibility in giving me what I paid for. As I mentioned, this will probably have to be brought to court. Below is the message from the Radon professionals, who will be fixing the issue (out of my own pocket): I reviewed your current radon system and have a few comments. The attempt to seal the area behind the passive pipe installed by your builder appears to be adequate. However, the manometer reading is very low even for the fan that's been installed. Those low levels are indicative of a fan sucking in air through a crack or cracks. Furthermore, your continued elevated concentrations of radon in your house indicate the system isn't working. Therefore, I recommend installing a new suction point near the middle of the basement adjacent to the staircase and connecting it to the system. The original suction point will be equipped with a gate valve that'll be almost closed to allow for condensation drainage. The rest of the suction from the fan will be focused on the new suction point. The proposed cost is $700 plus $150 for the official test once the levels are below the proposed limit. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed or if you have any other questions. Below is a gist of what S&A responded back with (I am purposely not quoting them directly, in case that is an issue for whatever reason): S&A bears no responsibility for tasks involving radon mitigation, radon fan installation, or any radon-related matters. Every customer signs an acknowledgment in their sales contract, clearly stating that S&A is not accountable for radon mitigation or home radon levels. We highly value Mr. Paris as a customer, and our team will meet with him to clarify that the responsibility for radon mitigation or installing a radon mitigation system does not fall under our purview.

We are very happy with the S+A product and process. This model was really well done and thought…read moreout. Our home was delivered on time with all information supplied regarding everything mechanical in the home. It makes for a very easy transition. Chad made sure our small list of items were completely taken care of on time prior to closing. Thank you S+A homes for making what sometimes could be a nerve racking process, an actual pleasure. From day one when we were up at state college with our daughter my wife and I found S+A homes online. We were on our way back to LI and we called them, that's when Brenda in sales called us back and met us at the site within the hour that Sunday. We went to contract and we were sent pictures and updates that we looked forward to from Ellen, which were great being we live out of state. Much happiness and lots of great memories starting in Pleasant Gap PA! Thank you all again, the Alessi Family.

When they put the banner board on instead of removing the drillings they just laid it on top of the dirt. which put the front doors two feet of the driveway. There answer to me was just bring in Shail. They could do this for an extra fee of course. But the real kick in the nuts was when they put the post in the ground, they never put anything under them for footing. Mister fisher insisted they put concrete in the holes, but none was onsite to do so. I was here to receive the materials at that time and the apparent skid of concrete that was ordered never existed. but regardless the footings where to be 36" round by 8"thick disc of concrete not just a bag of ready mix. as for the warranty it holds no water. I was told mister fisher by Levi himself that he been building buildings for thirty years and he was not interested in reinventing the wheel to do so. long story short now I'm stuck paying for a monstrosity with no satisfaction over the last for years. That i wish i would have gotten someone honest. If you have fishers build your building better watch for the short cuts there everywhere and the warranty is as good as the toilet paper in the locale gas station.
