There's pretty wildflowers alongside cactus which is cool to see. We didn't see much wildlife but there are horseback riders that use the trail that you may come across. End of summer 2023, I started making email complaints to the city manager Moron Brown. Again within the last few weeks I sent him more emails about the rust, peeling possible LEAD paint and TOXIC MOLD in the women's shower room. Once again Moron Brown is dismissing my complaints of toxic mold that has not been properly remediated. He insists the property was thoroughly cleaned and is being properly maintained and is acting as if I'm the problem. Well I have pictures as proof and a doctor diagnosed mold allergies. Excessive toxic mold that is not been properly remediated by a certified mold technician, broken tiles, 5 inch strands of CRAP hanging from the ceiling where there's a layer of filth and rust on the ductwork and vents.. IS NOT THOUGHLY CLEANED AND OR PROPERLY CLEANED. IF NUT ALLERGIES HAVE TO BE DISCLOSED THEN WHY NOT TOXIC MOLD? Moron Brown says there are over 2,000 people a month that use the Show Low Aquatic Center. I know damn well I'm not the only one that has mold allergies. I've seen a woman in the pool with a breathing apparatus. There are a lot of senior citizens like myself that have breathing issues. Mold Removal and Treatment Water and mold damaged in kitchen cabinet. Mold becomes a problem inside a home or business when there's excessive humidity or moisture for an extended period of time. The problem can originate from sudden water releases, like a burst pipe or large spill that goes untreated, or from a chronic condition, such as a leaking roof or plumbing. It also has flat and easy trails along a small water stream (and I think some more challenging one up some smaller wooded hills). The walk was relatively easy..you can for sure finish the all back ad forth within 30-60 minutes depending on how fast you can walk. When I was there on a weekday late morning, many residents were walking along the path with their dogs enjoying that cool morning as well. Finally, the trail is free and very well maintained. It is also accessible so people with any abilities can enjoy it for sure.

There were some horses in the other field which got all of the attention. Having the horses present just made the park that much more enjoyable. While up in Show Low for the weekend hiked Buena Vista trail! It's a great casual option to get…read moreoutside and enjoy the weather. Once you turn off the main road onto Rim Rd, which is a dirt road, nothing to crazy and I'd imagine easy enough for most automobiles. There is then a large dirt lot probably half a mile with trailhead map and info. Bonus no fee to park in the lot! The route has a bit of elevation, but for the most part features wide trails and pretty casual. It is a tad rocky, but my group did it in tennis shows or lifestyle boots. It is a loop trail, with a straight start an option to go left or right, the signage isn't great so we ended up doing a five mile hike instead of a three, but c'est la vie! There are trail markers they just are far and few in between. Service also is not great and sporadic, so Iw ould recommend downloading ahead of time. The hike featured lots of woodsy landscape a tons of wildlife footprints, markings and birds. It wasn't the best hike I have ever done, but a great option for those who want to get outdoors, have an easy approach or drive in and mellow hike that I personally find appropriate for most ages. Also dog friendly!
