Jack & Jones have had a store in Manchester Arndale for years, this is their new location which opened on Wednesday 11th September, replacing a pretty dreadful store they once had (https://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/jack-jones-manchester) - this store is located fairly close to Currys PC World and the old Clas Ohlson where there is the bridge connecting Manchester Arndale (the mall the store is located in) to Selfridges and Marks and Spencer.
The store is currently offering 25% off as an opening offer - which considering it's off everything is a great offer - you could end up winning more such as 30% off everything or 50% off one pair of jeans by using the spinner outside, or if you're unlucky you could be forced to do five push-ups on the spot.
The selection is pretty good - I was told the back is bulging with stock as they obviously couldn't fit it all on the shop floor (so be sure to ask if they don't have your size in stock).
The store is pretty modern and it impressed me overall that they've dramatically improved their store through this relocation and only a 24-hour turn-around too.
I do feel they could make their spinner more interactive as since it's been open there isn't often a member of staff guarding it and it really does make it feel more like a prop than an actual welcoming offer wheel and it would be good to see a slight increase of varied sized on their shop floor to avoid a long wait for them to get things out of the back. The store also does need to invest in a stool to reach items such as underwear from the top shelf because no one could reach them (and then awkwardly they had to put it back after realising my size is in the stock room!)
It might not be the biggest store in the mall but the fact they've drastically improved the brand, actually making Jack and Jones a store I might shop at again through this new store relocation - it is pretty good and the prices are good value too, they can be confusing however if you don't read carefully as all the prices for twelve different currencies are in one location in small-print on the hard to find label - I mean come on make it easier to find out the prices without having to spend too much time looking! 4* read more
