You were not supposed to have certain things out, but we have noticed within the past six months that the people with the ground headstones put whatever They want out including glass flags (which my grandfather who is in Pearl Harbor, his American flag gets taken every time we put it up) we went today on Mother's Day and there were people having a full blown block party with a barbecue and music. I understand this certain types of celebration of life, but there is a time in place in a cemetery is not the place. It was extremely disrespectful gutwrenching and beyond upsetting to the point where I was crying I have complained about this before and nothing has gotten done we can't put out simple things that are in the rules without being taken Yet the people with the ground headstones can do whatever they like. So I would like to know how much extra I would have to pay to have my stuff be able to stay because I don't see any other option. This is both me and my father's plots as well and to see what the future has to hold is absolutely sickening.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using Boston Cremation…read more Our family has had an incredibly frustrating and distressing experience working with them during one of the most difficult times of our lives. They issued a death certificate listing a cremation date that does not match the actual date of cremation. When we contacted them to have the error corrected, instead of taking responsibility, we were given the runaround. Most recently, we were told that the date on the death certificate represents the date they "started the paperwork" for the cremation rather than the date the cremation actually occurred. We do not believe this explanation is accurate or consistent with Massachusetts requirements, yet they continue to refuse to correct what we believe is an error on an official legal document. As a result, our family has been forced to continue pursuing the matter instead of being able to focus on grieving. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated issue. Throughout the process, communication was poor, empathy was lacking, and we repeatedly had to advocate for ourselves to receive basic information and proper treatment. The entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and has ultimately required us to seek legal assistance. Families deserve professionalism, compassion, and confidence that important legal documents are being completed accurately. That was not our experience. I sincerely hope no other family has to endure what ours has.

From the moment I spoke to Kevin, on the phone , I knew the Ward Funeral Home was the right place to attend to the preparation of my recently departed family member. Kevin held a very compassionate and direct initial conversation detailing the services offered and the prices. At a time like this the price of final arrangements can be key and the up front pricing was very much so appreciated. The initial face to face meeting with Kevin, at the funeral home, was pleasant and he took care not to allow any external distractions to take away from the time spent getting our arrangements in place. Constant communication was maintained with the Victoria and Kevin over the phone and via email; delivering prompt responses to questions and rapid call backs if you reached their answering service. On the days of the funeral and wake the team preformed with military precision yet were not noticed by the attendees of the events. Their staff organized parking to ease the creation of the procession and directed traffic so we were able to all proceed to the cemetery with ease. I can not say enough about the service my family and I were delivered by the Ward team. If you are looking for a compassionate, understanding, and easy (under the circumstances) process then the J.F Ward funeral home is where you should go.

I understand it's a business and things to to move along but I have never Experienced such blatant rudeness! Literally after the priest was done she marched right up to the front of the room with a scowl on her face and announced to the us that the service has ended kindly return to your cars..it was said in such a rude way it caught me off guard and pretty much everyone else in the room. Then she stood in the hallway eyeing people with the same scowl I assume it was to make people feel uncomfortable so they would leave. Again I understand you do need to move people along but this is certainly not the way to do it. The only star I give goes to the kind elderly gentleman that opened the door he was very nice. I've been to many wakes and would never ever suggest this place to anyone. With so many other options out there I highly suggest to go elsewhere.
