To complete the full service experience, Humberto was able to take care of the sheet rock cracking where the water had been leaking through into the house. The hardest thing for me was waiting for a text or call for over a month that never came except they wanted the next check. They already had $36 and the roof was only $24. I was waiting on them to finish the siding and get on to my other buildings. I've got until November 29 to get all this work done for insurance to pay. My roof is done but it doesn't cost $36k to do a roof for my size house. insurance paid $24k - you do the math. Then I find out he's been in trouble legally, but he stabbed a guy - 10 inch gash and ended up pen for it, also found other records where he was harassing a woman, and some other things which I won't post but it's all at the courthouse in Tarrant county. Do I believe people can turn their lives around? Yes. Seen many times as I'm in recovery but for both of the to profess to be Christians and this end up like this doesn't make sense to me. Liars and thieves- called the sheriff and in small print it says money up front for the work so I can't get him criminally but I can small claim which I will do. I feel super stupid as a contractor myself I know you do not prepay unless it's custom work and only for materials. Lesson learned. Still feel real stupid though. Please learn from me. They followed up often with the subcontractors to make sure they were getting done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. The subcontractor they found was really good to work with also. My only suggestion is that they need to be more clear in communicating to the subcontractors about the work to be performed so that the homeowner doesn't have to explain things twice or watch for errors. She was so responsive and went above and beyond to be there for us in every way. It almost felt like we had a personal concierge to walk us through this whole project.
