Scott was kind, courteous, and professional, with all fees and costs explained to us up front and with a clear breakdown, with the cheapest to most expensive options, repair of a part vs a whole heating system replacement. He was not able to fix our issue that same night due to a replacement part issue, but obtained the part from a supplier and came to fix our heat on the following Monday. A painless experience all around.

In fact for every appointment, they were either on time or early. The issue turned out to be a much bigger fix, but the whole time every person we dealt with was nothing but professional and helpful. Not gonna lie it was expensive, but they laid out all our options for us and we never felt once like we were being taken for a ride. And over a month out from the end of that project, we just received cookies in the mail from them thanking us for using their services. COMPLETELY unexpected, but SO appreciated. Will definitely use them again in the future should we have any issues.

Jay Elston (Owner) came out to quote and see the job. I was doing all the prep work myself (properly) and he made some important suggestions that I had not thought off. He also came in with the highest quote (10 % higher) but we went with him anyhow because his quote was all inclusive. He sent over an experienced plumbing team (Kevin about 11 years exp) and his Journeyman's Assistant Christine (Current local plumbing student and intern). Kevin is super organized and very skilled. The job was broken into two parts as we had to get blue board and plaster done after tub/shower install and copper rough in. They came back today (8-26-23) and took care of everything. I highly recommend Jay Elston Plumbing (978-423-1538). I plan to have them back in a year or so to do the 3/4 bathroom on the other side of this full bath. Regards, Rich - Groton, MA.

Summary: Spaulding Electric provided flawless, professional, and fairly priced electric service…read moreupgrades for our family's 62-year-old home. We had a sizable, multi-day electric service relocation and 400-amp safety panel upgrade/FPE remediation project performed on our family's 62-year-old home by Spaulding Electric in conjunction with National Grid. The five-person crew consisted of two master electricians, two journeymen, and an apprentice. Every single member of the team, regardless of their experience level, demonstrated complete mastery of their assigned tasks and maintained the highest level of professionalism throughout. The master electrician who led the team maintained a remarkably calm, cool presence while managing the crew, keeping everyone productive, and ensuring the job was done well. The entire team worked efficiently to complete the project in a timely manner, always showing great consideration for our need for domestic power during the transition. We were highly impressed with Spaulding's knowledge of complex technical and code requirements, which was validated by the town inspector's full approval. Due to the large scope and cost of this project, we obtained estimates from several competing firms; Spaulding's quote was by far the most complete and fairly priced. The crew's willingness to answer all of our questions and address our concerns is just one of many reasons we will use them for our future needs. We recommend them completely and without hesitation for any tasks requiring licensed electricians.

They were very accommodating when I requested some minor additions to the job like running a hose bib out to the side of the house as well as other minor modifications. Their pricing was fair and they also were reasonable in the assessment of what needed to be replaced and what did not. We talked about a tank-less water heater but he pointed out the fact that the technology was still in its infancy and the cost vs. return on investment did not make lots of sense (or cents). Honest and forthright which was appreciated. I will call D&R with no hesitation in the future. Thanks Bruce and your team. Keep up the good work in the Nashua/Hudson area!
