It was rainy season, so I needed the repairs done quickly. My house is tall, and I needed a professional to scale it. A friend suggested I call Knockout Home Improvement, and I'm glad I did! The soffit job was completed perfectly and neatly in one day after speaking with the contractor Mr. James. Mr. James took before and after pics, and I must say I was pleased with his work. While repairing the soffit, the contractor noticed two areas where the gutters were missing. I never noticed it but I did noticed ice and water would collect in those areas, so Mr. James quoted me a price and said he could install the gutters within that week. DONE! No hassles, no haggling. Thank you Mr. James for your efficiency and professionalism. I highly recommend your company to anyone who need work done in a timely and neat fashion.

How long does it take to install an oven and other appliances? According to Google, it would take…read more1 to 2 hours, maybe less, and that's from a professional. I'm very dissatisfied with James Fortunes services. We hired him back in February to install a couple of appliances. A job that would take no more than 4 hours. He arrived at 9AM on Friday and did not leave till 9:45PM AT NIGHT! He took 2 hour breaks to get parts and food, and acted like he had no idea what he was doing. Excuse, after excuse with him. This was ridiculous. He then finally installed the oven leaving gaps that were unfinished. The next day he shows up and spent another 7 hours at our house and still felt like nothing was finished. He took a very long time and ruined everything and was not considerate of our time and our needs. Fast forward to June, he decides to return and install drawers underneath the oven which would probably take no more than an hour which ended up taking another 8 hours to try and complete figuring out how to fit them in. He also uninstalled the oven just to fit the drawers in. He left everything worse than he found it and our oven did not work after that. He turned a simple task into a huge messed up situation. The stuff of nightmares! He was not considerate of my wife and I's time and situation and left a mess in our kitchen. He simply would not leave, he just stayed until we kicked him out and fired him! I tried looking up to see if he is licensed of any kind with the state of MI and could not find anything on him. A total complete contractor nightmare, time and money wasted!

Brian was honest, kind, hardworking, and straightforward from the beginning--our project was delayed due to COVID and so Brian and his team helped us setup an existing room for our 1st born daughter, as she was originally planned to get a room upstairs after the renovations. Over the next 2 years, 2020-2022, we kept in touch with Brian and he guided us, based on our budget, when we could kickoff our renovation--based on material cost post Covid. We knew going in, and Brian assured us, that we had an old house and we were going to run into surprises and unforeseen costs once we started taking the house apart. That said, Brian kept all costs at a minimum and worked with us, with incredible professionalism, anytime an unforeseen cost occurred. The entire Tilley team treated us like family, cared for our home (made it literally as strong as a tank), and truly finished every room gorgeously. His entire team is a complete delight to work with and their responsiveness and work ethic is unmatched. We highly recommend Tilley construction and we plan to exclusively use them for all of our home projects moving forward. I've attached before and after photos of our renovation with Tilley.

After decades of putting off the dreaded move to gut our upstairs bathroom and have it renovated,…read morewe finally broke down and did it. After several estimates on the cost, we chose Kret Kitchen and Bath, on Eureka off of Fort St in Wyandotte. We were very impressed with their showroom and just walking into it gave me great inspiration and choices that helped me put it all together. We live in a two story Colonial which is decorated in the country theme. I wanted that same look as well for the new bathroom. Mike was a great help in making suggestions and bringing ideas to my attention. A pleasant surprise to me as I can surely be a normal female who thinks she has done all her homework on decorating! Mike was outstanding in his communication on the progress being done, any wait time on the choices we made, or just a simple check in to see how we were liking the choices we made, from the very beginning, right to the end of the job, we really appreciated that Mike! The area around the bathroom was prepped with a plastic wall to keep the dust from seeping into the bedrooms, plastic on the stairs and our front entrance foyer, was covered for protection with the outmost respect for our home. The crew lead by James and included Steve, Lyle and many other workers whose names I don't recall. These guys were just the best, polite, cheerful, always answered our questions with great knowledge, always on time, and if they were going to be late never failed to call us. All the choices I selected turned out to be winners and we couldn't be happier!! We highly recommend Kret, they are the real deal, the workers are a real asset, their products are excellent quality. For the choices we went with, the challenges they experienced and at times the hard work they did, the cost of our renovation was well worth it, before calling it a day their mess was always cleaned up, what more could we have asked for!!! After putting this off because of the inconvenience, had I known how easy it was going to be, we would of done it sooner, it's all you fault Kret!! Thank you A+ Bob and Debbie Hohn, Riverview
