This was my first time at this salon and it will also be my last! Yikes! I made an appointment…read morefor a regular mani/pedi. Starting with the pedi... when I said the water was cool and I like it hotter I was informed it was hot! She asked if I wanted to burn myself!?! Entire pedicure to 20 minutes and that's with gel polish removal! Next manicure. I said what I had on my nails was powder. She removed it with an acrylic nail!! Never have I had that before, and trust me when I say it hurt. No pre soaking or prep prior to taking it off. I had regular polish put on because I like to not let my nails get soft and thin with too much powder or gel. Yesterday I took the polish off and 3 of my nails were torn near the quick(sp) and covered why the polish. I can't get them filed smooth even after cutting them so short! I know gel and dips can be hard in your nails and nail bed, but her yanking off the polish didn't help. Plus charged me an extra $10 to take it off. Let this be your warning. Keep looking for your next nail salon.

Apparently, I didn't learn from this first time when the chips and cracks started. KaiLee was on phone nearly the entire time I was in her chair. I specifically asked for rounded nails and came out with square. I asked her to correct. The second time, same thing plus peeling. Also, the pedi was pathetic. Poorly trimmed and zero, nada, no shiny topcoat. In light of the product failure, I personally went in and scheduled a fix, was given a time. I showed up, but KaiLee did not. Instead, after waiting 15-20 mnutes I called her. Said she was 15 minutes out and that Na, the second tech was going to help me out. KaiLee never showed while I was there. I will give Na alot of credit for her work. She did a good job with what she had to work with. I would go back to see Na, however I wish not to go into the shop again. Na, you may wish to find another salon for your talented nail work. I do agree that the products appeared to be older, and that scrimping on products used is a general practice. She was focused on the tv behind her and on her phone. My nails should not be falling off grown out or uneven. At one point she was on a FaceTime call or a phone call and had dropped the mail polish brush on the ground and proceeded to just brush it on a paper towel and continue to paint my nails. She seemed surprised when I barely tipped her but why would I tip a nail artist when she did a terrible job on my nails ? Lesson learned sit in the chair and get them done after seeing how terrible they are going to turn out

Betty to the rescue! Beautiful color and she said "How quick can you be here?" when I called. Flew out the door. The shop was bustling full of people when I left with totally revived color, highlights, and and sweet trim. How wonderful to squeeze me in the day before Easter and what a great job.
