We happened to park near Frazzleberries, which I'd consider a more upscale souvenir shop. The fit, the material, all great, and at a reasonable price. I want to say $35? I also bought a very nice Newport magnet at the checkout counter. A very successful visit!

The store was really organized and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I snagged some super soft AE jeggings for $16 and they were at least $40 retail. There were Anthropologie jeans going for $28. I also checked out some cute bralettes and sports bras, but they didn't fit right unfortunately. Other things they carried: sportswear (leggings, tops), sweaters, swimsuits, dresses, shorts, jewelry-- basically anything you'd find in a regular clothing store, but at a discount! There were also some cute Newport longsleeves/hoodies in the back. Selection is limited, but that's just the nature of the store-- it depends on what they get from the warehouse. It feels like a treasure hunt. I love this place already and can't wait to see what I find next!

This is a fantastic little local business that redefines the concept of "shopping small" by offering a wide array of locally made products - everything from handmade clothing to soaps and creams. The next time you have a present to buy for someone, the Purple Cow should be the first stop you make. Speaking of presents, they even have a section of birthday and special occasion cards, which makes it an easy one stop shop for all your gifting needs. While a lot of the inventory tends to lean toward the yogi-earthy-crunchy set, they have a great section of toys and stuffed animals for the young and young at heart, plus a whole lot of classy jewelry that's also made by local artisans. The Purple Cow is a must visit if you find yourself in Wakefield, RI, and need to purchase a memorable gift for a loved one, or simply just want to browse around a truly wonderful small local business!

They actually had a better selection the signature Lilly Store in Newport, RI! This place used to be open until 3-4 am- but since Covid they close at 8pm- which is still AMAZING- considering the signature Lilly stores close at 5/6pm! I actually got my first Lilly piece HERE 4 years ago! The woman behind the desk was really helpful with sizing and friendly and funny ! She was awesome and this place lets you TRY ON Lilly which a lot of stores don't let you in fitting rooms yet! So that was AWESOME- considering the sizing is all across the board! They had a few other brands but it was mostly Lilly! They had some cute jewelry, wristlets, and little "gazadellas" as well! This store is also really neat and well decorated with sanitizer waiting for you at the door. My only gripe is NO A/C & I was in a full SWEAT- When trying on multiple outfits- other than that it is WITHOUT A DOUBT- my favorite clothing store on Block Island!!

While the wedding dress experience could of been overwhelming, Suzanne was a dream and made it the easiest part in planning a wedding. My bride had been scouring online for different styles and designers and fell in love with the Pronovias line. Seeing that Estee Bridal carried them, she immediately booked an appointment. Upon arriving she and her bridesmaids received a warm welcome, she shut the store down just for them, and her bridesmaids were given water bottles and homemade macaroons while my bride tried on different wedding dresses. Knowing her style and body type, the second dress she tried on was perfect. She received so many compliments and felt gorgeous. Suzanne was amazing and would highly recommend her and her shop to anyone.

She knew exactly which dress to show my daughter. We loved the first one she showed us and while my daughter tried on a half dozen others, it was the first one that was "the one." Oh, and try the macaroons! Suzanne makes them herself and while I didn't have one, when we went to pick up the dress, my husband gobbled them all! We spent twice as much as we'd budgeted, but the dress and veil were so beautiful, we couldn't resist. Merci, Suzanne!
