I was given a cruddy copy of an x-ray, told he might need a root canal, and given a Rx for antibiotics. He charged $90. At the next dentist, we found a disaster. He needed multiple extractions, 2 root canals and 19 (yes, 19!) fillings. Thanks for the heads up, Doc.

First, when I…read morehad to have some work done, I was given an estimate of around $1,600 of which my dental insurance would cover most of the cost. After the procedure, I was billed by Two Rivers for over $3,000 after the insurance claim was processed. When asked, the office staff apologized and admitted that they made a "mistake." I could have delayed the procedure for a month or so and saved most of this under a new year's maximum benefit. More recently, my wife had some work done and again the final bill was hundreds of dollars more than their estimate - again their mistake. In neither case did they offer to negotiate a lower cost to offset their errors. I do not recommend Two Rivers.
