The restaurant is underneath the main shop, but it feels cosy rather than basement-y, with white walls and plush blue velvet curtains. We had some french people stay with us once, and they really wanted to try proper fish and chips, so we brought them here. Pretty consistent and always fresh food, with all the expected bits and bobs on offer. The fish is always fresh and the batter is nice and crunchy and not greasy. The prices have gone up lately but from what I can tell they have everywhere. You very rarely have to queue unless you need something cooking especially so is great for a quick and esy meal.
