We ensured we did not use any salt on our driveway and it's still in shambles. Deano told us the same thing this year - blamed it on road salt. My in-laws had concrete done 27 years ago and looks way better than ours that was just done. Michieli concrete is now blaming A1 (which we don't care who is at fault; we paid Michieli Custom Concrete and it's their responsibility). We encourage anyone else who has had issues to come forward - we feel totally shafted after spending over $40,000 in work and he has yet to even come look at it, nevermind take responsibility or action on it. Currently looking into whether there is a class-action we can join, and looking for any others who have been put in the same crappy situation.

Spoke to Dean in April, who said he'd get it done over the summer. Called at end of August and was told by Dean that "they've been busy". Too busy to complete a $22,000 job apparently. He also came by the house to say he's really busy as well. He'll lean on weather and other jobs to shirk any outstanding responsibility. His rationale for crumbling concrete is road salt that drips onto the driveway. What I got out of my conversations with Dean is that he buys cheap concrete and takes absolutely no responsibility for it, nor is he interested in completing his job once he's been paid.
