There is a second number they only check at the dealership that determines what you won. (I won a $25 gift card, after driving all the way there.) In my opinion, this is professional malpractice. I believe they are intentionally misleading people. The fine print appears intentionally confusing, so it can be understood multiple ways. I thought the winning number was just a verification code for the number in the combination box. In my opinion, this company should have a class action lawsuit brought against them. If you know an attorney that wants to take on a big business on behalf of at least 150,000 people, I want to talk to them.

My engine started making very loud noises shortly after I purchased it. A couple of people told me to have it looked at because it did not sound right. I had a mechanic look at it (wished I had done this before hand, but I was new to the area and didn't know anyone), and he said it was the transmission which was a out of his realm of expertise. I found another Ford dealership and took it in for diagnostics. Turns out it is the transmission, and they have to order a new one. I'm thankful it's still covered under the warranty but these people ought to be ashamed of themselves. They will have to answer to God one day!! I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office and will also file a complaint with the BBB. Do your homework and don't learn the hard way!!!

I know the "numbers online" is a preapproval, but I called over 5 times to ask the same question "would the numbers change once I got down there because I'd need to know now so that I don't waste time" and each time I was assured that whatever I was sent in text would stay the same in store as long as my supporting documents matched (which they did). Overall it's a decent lot as far as their vehicle selection goes, just make sure to take the preapproval with a grain of salt and THOROUGHLY LOOK OVER YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE DRIVING OFF. Update 1/27/26 **Car dumped oil and the lot first off made it difficult to get my car down to them for service. Once they received it, I waited for over a month for my car and got it back in even worse condition. I called back to see what they'd be willing to do about it but my option was for me to get it towed at my expense as well as be without my car (that I was paying on mind you) for another extended period of time without a loaner/rental. After multiple calls (and arguments which is odd because I'm very passive) they agreed to take the car back with no balance due but ONLY IF it was marked as a repossession and not a breach of their own service contract. 0/10, wouldn't recommend buying from carmart EVEN WITH A SERVICE CONTRACT!!

Then after 3 weeks the car started having major issues and needed an engine replacement that cost more than the value of the car. The dealership was absolutely no help and the salesman that was supposed to help me never did anything acceptable hound me for paperwork that wasn't done correctly at the time of purchase.
