I had to get a new car sooner than expected when the transmission in my old car decided to become a 3 piece combo platter. I was nervous knowing I have a credit score in the Low 400's I went into JD Byrider, to crunch some numbers, and Lo and behold I drive off the Lot with a 2011 Mercury Mariner with under 100k on the clock. Yes the interest rate is astronomical, yes I over paid for the car but I needed a solution. JD Byrider helped deliver that solution. Very much dissatisfied with this company. I bought a 2015 Buick encore on November 15, 2023. The same night the car was over heating (literally boiling). The car cannot drive for a full 5 minutes before overheating. I go get an oil change on November 16th and I'm told that my antifreeze is leaking into my oil pan and that I have a blown head gasket. I was sold a car with a blown head gasket. Jeff, the salesperson sat and watched me make a 5 star review (kind of forced) and its making me think he needs that because his real reviews are bull crap. No way i should have been sold a car with a blown head gasket. I haven't had the car a full 24h and it had extreme problems. not minor. I do not recommend this place at all please listen to me. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COME HERE!!! I HAVE EDITED MY REVIEW WITH UPDATES SEVERAL TIMES!! Every time I bring my car in for service that's under warranty, I never get it back when I'm told it will be done. The service department rarely answers the phone and even when I leave messages, I do not get a call back. My car has been there for 3 days now, and yes, I attempted to get in contact with no response. Here we are going into a holiday weekend and I have no transportation after telling them I needed my car back before the weekend. The service center at this location is awful..and not just with customer service. If it wasn't for my warranty, I would never bring my car here! UPDATE: I just went to them to check on status of my car. I called the number listed by owner below. It's the same number I've been calling and not getting an answer. MY CAR HAS NOT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED! Now I have to wait another 2 days!! They will reimburse me for a rental, but would take 3 to 4 weeks. I can't afford that!! Honestly, I swear I cannot wait til I'm done with this company!! This is the WORST experience!! And I will be posting my experience on all my social media to warn others not to make this mistake since they don't want to communicate with me and get this resolved! You receive a warranty when you get a car here and they've kept my car for 2 and a half months leaving me with nothing and have treated me horribly about this whole thing. They've never reached out to me I had to personally reach out every time to know why was going on with my car. I've never missed a payment since I've had the car for almost a year now. I recently had my car serviced at this location and on Thursday I went to pick up my vehicle. I paid over 1500 dollars and while using my credit card the service employee ran my card twice billing it over 3000.00 I was mad and requested my money back and he called the manager and she stated that there is nothing she could do causing an overdraft fee at my bank. Horrible experience with this dealership. I bought a car from them and paid 1k down payment and one week later they repoed the vehicle stating they couldn't verify my employment when my employer said no one ever contacted them for employment verification. I asked the dealership for my down payment back and they threatened me with fraud. I should've sued them for it. Do not do business with these people!!! read more

My brother in laws car was at the service center and we showed up on a Saturday to pick it up not realizing the service center was closed. The guy who claimed to be the "manager" or the guy who "runs the whole dealership", I did not catch his name, instead of being a good manager or at the least a decent human being, told my brother in law that he didn't need his attitude, before he even had an attitude we were just bummed we drove 40 miles to pick up the car nothing. At that point my brother got upset for the treatment he was receiving and started to get upset, and told him he need to watch how he spoke to paying customers and it's hard to believe he is the manager.(some curse words used in process) This man then told us we needed to leave the property or he was gonna call the cops on us for trespassing and make sure we never get his car back. Let it be noted my in law has never missed or been late on a payment. Quite simply if you want a good buying experience with someone who at least treats you like a person or cares the least bit, JD Buyrider is not the place for you. Manager guy if you see this all you needed to say without the attitude, was "I'm truly sorry for the misunderstanding if our website does say we are open today I will make sure we get that fixed.
