Initially my insurance company claimed my roof was normal wear and tear with age. Green guard construction Immediately took action and requested a second look from my insurance. Upon a second look after Green Guard fighting my insurance for me, they had my roof approved. Communication was excellent throughout the process all the way until my roof was redone. Upon completion they cleaned up their mess very thoroughly and i am highly pleased with their quality of work, excellent customer service, and great communication. Never the less John came out with samples and we discussed two major buildings several roof types but selected a 35 y high end shingle. Not the cheap ones made in Shakopee you find allot here (I know them from seperates enterprise Atlas is not being quoted here). John was $12.5k under the last 2 companies I tried, both of whom flaked out and didn't start working or ever returned calls again. [Ai says this was in the normal price range but on the very fair side]. Come spring John called me first too give me heads up on temps , schedule and wait list, we had a few weather issues in the way. He came back we talked about some side jobs I didn't expect he would cover including; a shed, siding, missing soffets leading too drip rails falling off, and wood rotting. He added it for a few hundred and truthfully his crew actually did a lil extra gratas. They also upgraded all vents as well as adding one [mine were new but the plastic kind rodents can break into but no longer]. Come warmer weather this spring they got here an did the sidejobs the day before, then attacked roof , then by noon it was done. Took about 5 hours the crew covered everything by house, minded robot mower and cleaned the debris up including nails with magnetic roller sweeps. Communication has been been a high point here I simply wrote a check afterwards n it was done. Other firms I tried wanted allot more money, non compete, and 6 month commitment contracts. Plus were high pressure [ then of course never showed again]. At that point I decided Id ask for referrals an got Atlas. Afterwards I'm told too expect an inspector too double check it, then if there's a problem call any time. I have actually but only too get referrals on some tricky unrelated jobs involving river landscaping not because of any issues with the work. Good old fashioned net working. So basically I recommend Atlas for : -Communication/professionalism -Timeliness -Speed -Thoroughness -Value -Simplicity/no pressure dealing -Cleanup/protection -A mindfulness of proper conditions too adhear shingles under, he could clearly do more work but wouldn't unless conditions were correct. This speaks too me of someone who cares about reputation and quality over quantity. So I say proceed here with out qualms or doubts. Plus he's a nice guy with a friendly crew too work with. Ps. I normally don't leave reviews unless I feel it's warranted, I write them for compensation and do product testing so they are work. Doing it for free on Yelp is it's own statement. In full disclosure, we did have to have one side of the garage re-done due to some James Harding and a portion of the roof re-done (due to rushed contracting work), we still were really happy with the overall project. My first look inside I saw the concrete floor was not finished correctly. Know how the sidewalk or walkways you see everywhere outside? That's what they did inside. troweled crack control joints and the floor was not troweled flat at all. The lighting was done incorrectly and not according to plan. Not a single light was installed over the workbench but off to the other wall instead. the sheetrock wasn't hung in any timely matter at all. missing vapor barriers. She told me that they charged her $1500 for electric service connection which she later found out that $300 was what Excel charged Sussel. The subs Sussel uses must be getting shorted on pay for them to do such shoddy and incomplete work. Can't think of any other reason for them to not care about getting it done correctly. She said she has not been successful in getting them to fix anything and they sued her when she tried withholding the last payment. I really feel sorry for her getting taken by a company that really does shoddy work. I've read other reviews about Sussel and it really seems to be about which subs they use. My advice? Hire your own subs. Make sure everyone sticks to the blueprint.

One contractor shows up every few days, parks illegally (well over a foot from the curb) then sets up a table saw across from his truck. Only one car can pass at a time, and he sets up like this every time he is here (which is nowhere near every day). Being this was my first time working through a claim for damage to my house I was very uncertain how to navigate these waters or what to expect. Working with Chris and Mike at Re New made the claim process a lot smoother than it could have gone. I was able to communicate with Chris via text or phone as needed while working on our claim with State Farm. I was offered advice on all of the questions I had which was extremely valuable. When the work began on our house the roof was completed in one day and the siding took approximately 5 days. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were no issue to my wife or kids. The completed work looks absolutely fantastic. I have had numerous neighbors come over and compliment that our house is now the nicest house on the street. How can you beat that?! So I suddenly had this huge leak and water pouring into my kitchen from my roof. I did some research and found Re NEW Construction. I contacted them and the owner himself actually came our to inspect my roof (Mike), along with a few of his other guys. They spent time inspecting my roof at great detail and found the problem and noted it was from a hail storm. They worked with my to make a claim and took it upon themselves to communicate with my insurance company. Within a week I had an adjuster out and was slated to get my new roof - record timing! We were really scared. I called Incline and they put me in touch with Pete, who is the nicest young man. He is so fast with communication - he responds within a couple of hours via email. He came right over, measured and gave me an immediate estimate - all the while telling me that he didn't think him installing gutters would fix the issue. I mean, he could have just sold me gutters, but they're HONEST people. So I ended up buying the gutters because I'd tried everything else, and they were very reasonably priced. Fast installation, and my husband just looked at them - they installed gutter guards without us even requesting them! That was such a nice surprise. So I had them out again to see if they could troubleshoot the leak. Within 10 minutes, the guy seemed to isolate the issue and made a recommendation. My husband just fixed it and the leak stopped. So Incline saved us a ton of trouble and money by just being good guys. Finally, I cross a dangerous intersection with my children everyday which is near their business. They're the most considerate drivers, and always pause to look for pedestrians in the crosswalk. I know that might be a silly thing to point out, but their attention to safety is important. They came out for the appointment, but…read moredid not want to be bothered to write up a bid for my project, HONESTLY if you can't write up a bid for my project (which is just typing) Why would it be good hire you to fix the roof? They didn't follow up, i had to call them to try to get a price, and when i did get a hold of them they forgot about my bid, then just gave me oral guess 2500-3800K for my project and then call me back later the same day to give me another oral guesstimate of 6500-7000 K for roof repairs. They seemed unorganized, lazy, and didn't want to do my project. It would've been better if they declined early instead of wasting my time and theirs.
