I went to a salon very close to Body & Soul and had them waxed. The lady who did it seriously messed them up! One eyebrow was gone the other looked like it wasn't ever waxed?! I won't say who or where the business was but damn I'll never ever go back or recommend them to friends... Ahhh. I then got a recommendation from a friend to go to Body and Soul and have Terri do them.... Terri made a significant difference and saved them! My skin peeled slightly yesterday, and when I woke up this morning, I had the most amazing complexion. My skin looks a decade younger. My smile lines on one side are completely gone. The smiles lines on the other side have majorly receded. I literally could not believe how beautiful I looked in the mirror today with no makeup on. I work and go to school full-time, and I overlook that my body and mind require a break to rejuvenate, too. Life can get so busy that I forget that I need that time to rest and do a different activity that allows me to unwind and not think of my long to-do list. Getting a facial as self-care is just a first step that also jumps starts my cellular and collagen production so that I will look well-rested (and younger). It was so relaxing that I fell asleep as Fiona brushed on a mini-facial before getting started on the peel and gave me a coat hanger massage, which focused on the neck and shoulders. I left Skin Deep feeling rested, relaxed and thankful for having taken that hour to be exceptionally kind to myself. The bonus of my skin not showing the world how much stress I am under, and loving what I see in the mirror makes that one hour of downtime worth it. The follow up to maintain this skin is going to take work on my part. I'm going to have to take better care of my skin, and Fiona was able to suggest products and a routine to target areas of concern. She recommended only getting four PCA peels a year, so it's super important that I maintain the effects with at-home care. I'm worth the commitment, and so are the results!

During the treatment, Katelyn educated me on lash extensions, microblading, and teeth whitening--and their company's dedication to quality services. After 24hrs it only took one coat of mascara (regular straight lash wand) for my lashes to look curled up and "done". Before, I used a lash crimper to crimp my lashes with "5 pumps" (which I've now thrown out of my makeup routine) and 2-3 coats of mascara to make my lashes look the same level of curled and "done".
