Mr. Williams is honest, direct, and is the kind of attorney that best represents what an attorney should be. The opposing counsel was very brutal and brought in a lot of irrelevant evidence to sway opinion. Mr. Williams was direct, honest, and stayed on course. The only consistency was new people handling my case. The only way I knew about these changes was after countless unanswered emails until someone replied informing me that the prior person no longer worked there and that they were now "reviewing my file." Some of us have jobs that we can't just take time off of like that. I didn't speak to him for months so we were not prepared at all!! My ex was able to have witnesses that I couldn't because my other sons do not live in the state!! Obviously they knew about the court date but I didn't! I would have to email the same thing over and over again and was billed for it. I found out very quickly that I was just paying my money for the lawyers to go in the back and make an agreement anyway. Things were not brought up that should have been such as domestic violence. I feel like my kids were not cared about at all. They just take your money and lack empathy. I'm still waiting for all of my paperwork to be returned years later!!!!

Her lack of confidence alone is enough reason to not have her represent you in important court cases. She cowers to other attorneys and stumbles across her words. Alex Gillie does not have the best interest of her clients in mind because she is not confident enough to stand up to opposing attorneys and fight for what is right. Each time she appeared in court, she looked sloppy and unprofessional in her attire and grooming. Everyone has to start somewhere, but Alex Gillie is in the wrong field. She showed up multiple times to scheduled court hearings completely unprepared to represent her client, leaving us feeling helpless. It was so bad, that she flat out said she was not prepared and my husband was left with no option but to represent himself on TWO separate occasions. Please do not put yourself through the mistake of hiring Alex Gillie. She is the opposite of who a person would need going to battle for something as important as child custody.
