About six months ago, they changed my oil in both of my cars and I noticed that they put the wrong…read moremileage for the next oil change on both cars. This seemed shady but, I wrote the experience off as a one-off mistake. Then, back at the beginning of July they changed my oil...and completely damaged the hood of my car and passenger side fender by trying to slam the hood closed on the stick that holds it up. They sent me home without mentioning it... When I came back to ask what happened they said they would "check the cameras". The business manager then acknowledged that they caused the damage. And then all communication stopped. No phone calls. No responses to emails. Nothing. I had to file a complaint with the attorney general of NC and only then did they communicate through email acknowledging the damage they caused. Then they blocked my emails so I couldn't forward them the repair estimate. So the attorney general's office did it for me. Only then did they go and pay for the repair...They didn't ever apologize. They never called me. They didn't cover a rental car for me and my kids while the van was in the shop. I'm lucky they even paid for the repair. And here's the thing... someone not as persistent as me may not have ever gotten their car fixed. Someone who didn't know how to contact the attorney general might not have ever gotten a repair. So be careful. This business is not one who wants to do the right thing. They aren't willing to admit when a mistake is made. And they aren't willing to fix their mistakes unless the law is involved.

I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car. That's when I decided that it was best to leave it there and have it towed to the nearest automotive shop. Thankfully, JT&AS was no more than 7 miles away from where I was stranded. Talk about feeling uncomfortable and feeling ripped off, let me share it. On May 13th, I took my…read moretruck there for an A/C leak and after $100 I was told there were no issues found. They had replaced the refrigerant and I was good to go but if the A/C went out again to bring it back. On June 3rd, my A/C stopped working again so I took it back to them. When I arrived to drop it off I was wearing my Army PT shorts and the front desk lady came closer, looked me up and down and said: "Look at those legs! I'm glad it's warm outside and that's right, I got no shame." I'm glad my wife wasn't there, cause it would probably have gotten ugly. Anyone would feel flattered with a compliment, but that felt completely out of place and wrong. Now imagine the opposite, I'm the one behind the counter and say that to a lady coming in as a customer? Later on, Bob called me and explained the Condenser was bad and it would cost $775 to replace it. I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed. He charged me again $50 this time which to my surprise would not be counted against the $775 if I brought it back to them. I just got off the phone with Auto Zone and they have a brand new Condenser for $120 w/ lifetime warranty. Called another shop and they can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck to anyone bringing your vehicle there.
