This barbershop has great service with great cuts!…read more Prices are competitive and parking is ample which is always a plus. There is a small waiting as soon as you walk in where I was waiting for my husband and was able to meet some of the locals who where also there to get their hair cut. Everyone seemed very sweet and helpful. The location is impeccably clean and has a home-y vibe to it which is nice. One thing to note is that they only take cash, which I feel is pretty standard for most barber shops but figured I would note it just in case. They do any style you want, I noticed those who got a cut all got something different from another so the range is broad! There is a restaurant and Dunkin Donuts located in the strip mall, for those ladies who are waiting for their SO's to get a trim!

First few months after moving here I still kept going to Tina, my old barber. She and her husband Truck( Yep, that's his name) owns the barber shop. Truck moved here in the US from Vietnam more than 25 years ago. Then he went back and married Tina. They have a kind, sweet teenage daughter. A beautiful immigrant story! Anyway, driving an hour to Laurel just for a haircut was starting to conflict with my other schedules. so I was looking for another old fashioned barber shop. If you ask me, Barbers would beat hairstylists any day. At least that's the for me. Been there done all. My best friend who is living in Hyattstown for over 30 years recommended this place. Him and Mr. Rocco was buddies when he was alive. It was the last winter when I first came to this shop. The first day I came here realized I had no cash on me. Not sure why most Barbers still refused to accept credit cards. That's another post! I believer it's purely cultural and old fashioned. As I was walking out to get some cash, the nice gentleman who happened to work there told me if I was in a hurry I could get my haircut and come back to pay later. How kind and sweet is that. I was kinda in a rush and appreciated the offer. That's when I met my new barber. In few minutes she understood exactly what I was looking for. Later she told me she is from Bolivia and owner of the shop now. She has two other wonderful Barbers. As she was cutting my hair, I was literally could see she was changing my hairstyle. I let her do whatever she wanted to do. Wasn't completely sure if I was gonna like the cut, but internally I was ready for a little change. So she did! Even though I still miss Tina, I love the new twist on my haircut and love my new barber.
