I have used Deep South Landscaping for various repairs to my home sprinkler system. They do…read moreexcellent work, always on time and when they leave you don't know they were even there. The owner is excellent to deal with and is hands-on for much of their work. I will not hesitate to use them again as their prices are also excellent!!!

Absolutely do not have Greg Smith do any work for you. 5.5 years ago he put a pool in a house that…read moreI then bought. The pool deck immediately began to settle causing the pool coping blocks to separate from the pool wall. He told me to buy some HD construction adhesive to glue them back down, but the pool had already begun to sink. It turns out he had already replaced some of the concrete around the pool because it settled within the first four weeks of construction. The pool and surrounding lower and upper patios were installed without proper water control, including water flowing back towards the house from the concrete he poured over an existing concrete patio. During the pool installation, he cracked the septic tank, but did not fix it--he covered it up. He also cracked a large conduit carrying a main power cable and did not fix it, leaving a cable exposed underground. We found these problems while removing the pool because the retaining wall he built was failing due to the septic tank leak. The wall had sunk as much as 8" in some parts and was separating from the concrete patio--the ground under the wall was muck from years of septic tank leakage. The leak also caused the pool to sink, literally dropping into the ground and sliding down the hill. Two retaining walls were built without proper compaction and geogrid and within 5 years there was a void under the patio concrete of up to 16 inches. When we asked him to fix it 2 years after he built it, he told us that he knew there was inadequate water control, and wanted $20,000 to fix his mistake. Fortunately we did not do that as that would not have fixed the problem we have now found, and his incompetence has now cost us over $100,000 to remove the pool and rebuild both retaining walls. Ask him for his contractor's license which per the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Board OIE Case number 2019-24 was permanently revoked November 13, 2020.
