Appointments are made in person so please call to schedule one as it is well worth it. This is our second time coming to Andrew Wale & we could not be more impressed with his work. We had our wedding bands tattooed in 2017 & touched up in 2018. Today we had a sunflower & Marine Raider patch tattooed on my husband and me. It was another great experience with Andrew for us both.

So I was going to get a tattoo done by Lisa D Tattoo at 111 Western Blvd here in Jacksonville. She…read morestarted sending me DMs after seeing a comment I posted under a friend's post about tattoos. Everything seemed cool at first, I sent her the pics of the tatts I wanted and scheduled the appointment for this Thursday. She tells me deposit is $100 via messenger. I told her I could pay her the next day (it was late Saturday night) on Sunday once I was off work at 6pm. She tells me she only accepts Chime payments which seemed weird claiming she doesn't handle cash or any other form payment. After talking to my husband it seemed sketchy I've never had an artist tell me they only deal with CHIME. I messaged her back and told her to cancel the appointment (this was on Sunday) and decided to just go to someone who was referred by a friend. I deleted the conversation and went on my day. She starts messaging the next day NOW OFFERING TO ACCEPT CASHAPP and sends me a cashapp tag that didnt seem to match her name. I still didn't respond because its giving weird and sketchy. She then offers to take $20 off...big deal the tatts weren't expensive. So because I would no longer respond to her anymore she decided that she would send me this message. If your that upset because I decided to not let you tattoo me TOO BAD. All you did is prove how unprofessional you are. Watch out and be careful doing business with this one.

THEN when we called, the piercer is out of town (mind you, she said if something happens come back Tuesday, during the piercing process) so she's not available. The lady that answered gave attitude instead of trying to handle this situation professionally. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS! The young lady is new at it, and I get mistakes happen, it my daughter has 1 out of 2 that cost $120! The swelling on the SMALLEST bars, stripped the threads and her post fell out. UNACCEPTABLE TO SAY THE LEAST. As I see it, they owe my daughter a redo in 2 months, this was her sweet 16 present and it's ruined. OR a refund for the avoidable mess they caused and now won't fix. UPDATE: Took her to a better piercer with more experience. Found out her one surviving piercing is crooked as hell (45 degree angle) and looks like it was a total loss on the whole experience. Turns out they use cheap jewelry from Amazon as well! This entire experience has sucked, which is sad because the young lady was super nice and patient with my daughter. She needs more training obviously. We need a refund, both piercings had to be removed to heal properly. $120 for neither piercing to have worked out. My wife will be in touch about the refund

She was great to work with, really listened to what I wanted, and delivered on point. It's obvious how passionate she is about her work, as well as the clients she works with and the connection between them and the tattoo artist. Elite Tattoo has an open and welcoming environment. The staff was very friendly during both my consultation visit and the day of my tattoo appointment. Upon walking in, one of the things that impressed me the most was that instead of the walls being covered in tattoo work, it was instead covered in original art works from the tattoo artists. This is a great way to show off their extended creativity. If anyone in the Jacksonville area is looking to get a tattoo, I highly recommend calling Elite and setting up a consultation.
