The owner claimed there were issues in the Raleigh area in early December 2024, and said his workers could not come to work, which caused repeated delays. During installation, the crew--who did not speak English--placed the fence too close to my neighbor's house. When I raised the issue, they refused to move it. They claimed I had instructed them to place it there, which is incorrect, and the owner also refused to correct the placement. About six months after the fence was installed, it started falling apart. There are now large gaps between the doors, and although they said the wood was pressure-treated, it's already buckling. I called him and explained the issue, and he was completely dismissive, saying that he only works for the customer and it's too bad if the rest of us (over 100 cars per day) can't see around the corner. American Heritage still hasn't addressed the issue, but when they do, I'm curious whether they will do so at their own expense or whether they'll charge the neighbors extra to move the fence. I sent the list and received a reply from James Frye stating that he'd price out the items and send me a quote. Monday (11/7): I sent an email reply to James thanking him and expressing that I was looking forward to doing business. I was honestly expecting the estimate Monday morning, and sent the email as a bump/reminder. Wednesday (11/9): Morning...Called and spoke with Jennifer on the phone. She advised that Mr. Frye was out of the office, but that he would be back shortly and would call me back at that time. Wednesday (11/9): Afternoon... Sent James a follow-up email explaining that I was ready to purchase the materials as soon as he got the quote over to me. ...no response Thursday (11/10): Called and spoke to Jennifer again, and she said that Mr. Frye was not at his desk, but he would call me back shortly.
