First of all, I have been to many well reviewed massage…read morestudios from the North, way out in the West end, eat side past Olde Towne Beverly, and all over South Side Edmonton. I've only met one other therapist in Edmonton who comes close to Jel and her therapist teams. She trains them fresh from their receiving their ticket as RMTs, tears down their fresh out of school mindsets, with all of their inexperience and bad habits, and teaches them how to properly help her clients, with her level of customer service, her efficiency, her techniques, her sales, her overall attitude, better and more effective skills... She molds them into very effective RMTs she can trust, which is saying a lot about them as RMTs of they have get approval. There are top notch. Take that into account when you book, her therapists are mini versions of her. Jel is the myth, the legend, the one I trust 100% with my awful bulged discs, sore shoulders, neck cramps, ruptured achilles, my left leg atrophy, the list goes on, so book here with confidence. Be up front with what you need, don't be afraid to request more pressure or less, chatty or quiet, scented oils or no. Some times she will advise you that 'you may need to put up with some discomfort while I get this [medical Latin muscle name gobbledygook] to release, and here's why...' I trust her not to leave me in pain or unable to move. I've been to several places where medium pressure left me bruised and unable to sit back in a chair for a couple days. I've been to a place that tried to manipulate my lower back when I went in to treat severe back spasms, which gave me more back spasms on the table screaming in pain, I've had therapists barely touch me, leaving me oily, still store and $100 poorer. I've been to some good places that are just too hard to get in unless you book several months in advance, or who stopped taking new patients. Soul 2 sole won't leave you stuck, if they are booking months ahead Jel pays attention and looks at taking on more staff to cover the demand, you know like a business is supposed to do. She has a second location downtown with a steam room, I haven't been yet but plan to visit soon. South side location is ready to get to, free parking and word has or they are going to look at offering massage technique classes at this location as well! I'm all over that, I'll be there on opening day. Book here with peace of mind. Call if you're in a bind, so to speak, snd they will not turn you away if you're suffering, they will do what they can to help. Go here, you don't need to go anywhere else, and if you have this covered by your insurance you're wasting the dollars every year! It makes your whole life so much better when you're not cringing at shoulder, neck and back pain (and legs, arms, hands, feet). Worth every-single-penny spent here. Also, I absolutely love the end of the massage when Jel gives me tea and a couple candies to send me out into the world feeling like a million bucks. I dropped by this place on Oct 2025, I was going to take only one session to see how is it. They gave me different pricing with and without membertship and they told me it is free to try the membership, which it is true join membership costs nothing. I booked the appointment for massage, gave them my info and credit card information. When I was there at the spot to do massage, I found that the catch is that you have to commite minimum 3 months to have the discounted price. Otherwise, the price is much higher than other places. So that is fine I can tried 3 times, I was kindly to sign the commiment/membership. (They gave me bunch of paper works, normally people were are not going to read them words by words, which would cause you a no-easy-quit) After you in the program, they will pre-charge your credit card then you can use it. My other massage places are not doing this, you alwasy do the treatment and then pay. Thing gets intereting is that when my 3 months commiment is over. I told them at the spot in the store on Dec 2025 when my 3rd treatment done, I would like to cancel my membership; they said they can not cancel it; they have me to email them; also I have to do it in 30 days advance. I initially, just wanted to try for only 3 times, see the screenshot, from Oct to Dec 2025. When membership finished, they do not give you a easy way to quit; due to the holidays and email cancellation request only, they kicked the ball, intentionally to comlicate and delay the process, so to have you miss the so-called policy cancellation period, and sure, charge you ahead and make you spend more there. ( cuz normally, people would not pay much attention to the rule and do not care since we covered by insurance.) Then I emailed them on Jan 19 2026 to cancel the auto withdraw and membership;(my 4th payment was already charged on 15th). They replied back to me the cancellation is confirmed on Feb 5th. see the screenshot email. So I was like, fine, they already charged me, I can use it then that is it. On Feb 28, I was going to use my 4th credit, they told me you can not use it until you make the 5th payment for 15th Feb. The reason is that, your cancellation submmited on 19th Jan, there is no 30 days notice in advance. So you have to make one more payment: 5th payment, then you can use the 4th credit today. I was like, my commitment is over, I should be able to quit anytime I want, and I did the email request too. This is such a rip-off, It is understandable you pre-charge my credit card for the 3 month term, but why when it is finished. You are still authorized to pre-charge me? This business is trying their best to squeeze as much as they can out of you. If you argue with them, they just saying you sign the documents. I understand I am covered by insurance, it is kind free for me, but this is not moral to do so.

Lucky for me, it was really, really good! My masseuse, Linda, was amazing. If you want a deep tissue massage, this is the place to go. I haven't found a reliable place to get massages in Edmonton (except for one other place) but this one I will definitely be back for more. Linda is very thorough, targets specific parts of the body (if you would like) and has very good, consistent pressure throughout the whole massage. Very professional and you can tell she knows her stuff. Plus nice little details (heating pad placed over the areas not being massaged, making sure pressure is good throughout the massage, insurance receipt, and water bottle at the end). She even has an online booking system through her website that makes it super easy to book and see all the available time slots for the day/week. Highly recommend.

I received a hot stone massage from Alison and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. The atmosphere of the building was relaxed and cozy - I really appreciate that.
