In addition to the camp fire, they had a nice deck area for everyone to sit out at, and plenty of picnic areas too.

When they're hosting ball players, it seems to be a bit loud and rowdy but thankfully things calmed down at a relatively decent hour and we were able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty good, just a basic buffet style, but we liked it. We'll definitely stay again if we're passing through.

Tami, who works in the office, was the nicest person and her husband showed us to our site and was great to talk with about the area. A very short walking bridge, right in the campground takes you to "Dog Island "where dogs can be off the leash. It's a huge area and has larger pools for swimming in the river. Great fishing, swimming and kayaking on the river. We would definitely return here. There is really nothing within about 30 miles of this campsite, but we enjoyed staying put and the beauty of the area.

The woman at the counter assured him she could find them in the huge shipment she had just gotten in but not opened yet. She went out of her way to dig through her boxes until she found just the right pair he wanted. My brother-in-law bought a tub of the huckleberry ice cream and said it was the best he has ever had. It's a small store, but they seem to have every last minute item you might need or want, and everything is very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back when we come through next year!
