Here's the deal..... I didn't actually use Handyman Joe for the work that I needed done in my home…read morebut we did communicate back and forth over a two day period that left me appreciating the customer service provided. I had closet shelving that had fallen and I needed it fixed asap. I spoke with Joe and even though he was pretty booked up he was going to try to come by and see what he could do. We scheduled a time but due to another job he had that he couldn't get away from called me in advance to let me know we'd have to reschedule. I had to go with someone else since I needed it done asap but I appreciated the phone call nonetheless. He even followed up a few days later to see if I still needed the job done since he hadn't heard back from me. Definitely keeping his number saved in the event I need his services in the future.

They do the job within the agreed rates, they never go over and they get the job done. On the rare occasion that I am not satisfied with their work, Henry makes sure that all my concerns are taken care of before he walks away. I have used him on several jobs at my house: from a bathroom expansion project, a spa re-tiling, painting, electrical work and now plumbing work when my pipes burst in my garage.

Noah laid out our LVP flooring in the latter part of 2025. He was supposed to start mid-December,…read morebut we needed to move in by the end of the month. So I asked if we can move the start date up. He and his wife, Erica (then-fiancée, who now manages and procures for the business) moved their schedule around to accommodate my request. He is very dedicated to the work. I learned that they got married in the middle of our project. He just took 2 days off; got married in the weekend and was back to work on Monday! Sorry, Noah and Erica. He appears to have an artist's eye; made sure to put quarter rounds even inside the closets (which are largely hidden from view, see picture). He laid the planks vertically from the front door instead of horizontally (which, if done, would have cut the flow from the entrance). He matched the quarter rounds with the existing baseboards, so that if the latter has a small angled side, he would cut a small piece of the quarter round to fit that small side, instead of just doing a right angle. It looks aesthetically finished, instead of just looking "done". Erica is the same. When Noah was running late going home, he sent her a photo of what he thought was a finished job. She saw that some of corners and door-jamb trims did not have quarter rounds. She told him he had to do them. They're a good team. Noah is straightforward and very amiable. He explains what he does and is never impatient with questions, however inane. He is generous with his knowledge and is willing to teach how things work. He finished the job right on schedule, which allowed us to spend New Year's Eve in our new home. Fast forward to a couple of months after. He came back to fix our sprinklers that sprang leaks. He diagnosed the problem and made adjustments to make the existing system work. When you hire this business, you are assured of a job well-done.

Five Stars -- Matt is the real deal…read more We hired Matt for a major home remodel that included painting walls and cabinets, replacing flooring throughout half the house, foundation repair, garage epoxy, and replacing doors and windows -- and he knocked every single one of them out of the park. What stood out most wasn't just the quality of the work -- it was how he handled the entire process. Matt communicated consistently from start to finish, checked in regularly with updates, and never left us guessing about where things stood. When we needed to change direction on design decisions mid-project, he was patient and flexible without making us feel like an inconvenience. He also put real thought into the order and flow of the work, knowing that we were living in the house the entire time -- that kind of consideration isn't something you take for granted. When small things came up after the project was finished, Matt didn't hesitate to come back and make it right. No pushback, no excuses -- he simply stood behind his work, and that says everything about his character. We'd hire him again without a second thought, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with. Oh -- and our dog, who is not easily won over, grew to look forward to Matt's visits every day. When the project wrapped up, he actually missed him. If that's not the highest endorsement we can give, we don't know what is.
