This was comically bad pizza; think Chef Boyardee on a cracker, topped with only the finest melted string cheese. You don't expect gourmet cooking late at night, but something's gone wrong if you and a few of your booze-numbed buddies can't polish off a mid-sized pie. Some of the other items on the menu might be a bit more palatable. Or edible. There were five or six draught beer taps, but all were wearing the ignoble crown of the plastic solo cup. I can understand a bakery running out of their best selling scones, or a seafood restaurant crossing off menu items as the evening proceeds, but how does a bar run out of beer?

Patty the owner is awesome!! She made sure that we (my friend and I) being out of town were able to make it back to our hotel and had food in our belly's. Joel the bartender was great as well! The prices are pretty comparable to other craft breweries it seems. A lot of times it's busy. It's especially busy on weekends and when there's live music. There's a large draft selection. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty good for local beers, so we got a few of these. Best of these last time here was the Q.C Haze, a hazy IPA. It's a strong ABV at 7.1%. There's also a pretty okay food selection. It's about $8 for shareable appetizers. The Chips And Salsa are good with anything to be honest. Great brewery that's also a restaurant where they also cook everything. It has many items as far as beer and food. The food is mostly limited to food trucks, but there's stuff like brisket and pretzels.

Pretty much empty, but the bar looks really neat and the bartender was lovely. She chatted us up and strongly suggested that we come back for the Thanksgiving dinner Rosy personally cooks for her patrons. The smoking porch was great, and there was a pool table and a Touchtunes Jukebox. We were happy to hang around for quite awhile.

When I picked it up, and I ran into some one and dropped the beer and spilled it all over myself. The bartender immediately got me a new beer and threw me a towel to dry my shirt with. That is the kind of thing you can expect from every staff and patron you see at the Arena. This place has a unique lack of jerks that you would typically expect to see going out. This is a great mingling bar and you meet cool people here. A few things to expect. this really isn't a sports bar. They have two TVs but they never have the volume on them on, so I wouldn't tell people to go here to watch a game. They do have one pool table to for people to use, and they also have an old school NES that you can play at the bar. Thursday night this is the most happening place in Rock Island. Saturday and Friday nights are good here as well. If I had one critique here, sometimes it would be nice if they played their music softer so that it would be easier to talk to people.
