DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! If I could rate zero stars I would. We got our car in March, someone…read morebacked into us in a parking lot in April. His insurance was in contact with us and recommended we take it here for repairs. It was a fairly simple fix just a big dent on the fender and scratches on the door. The parts they kept getting in were coming in damaged so that delayed the process of getting it fixed. After a month we finally get it back in June after dropping it off in may and there are so many new scratches and scuffs on both driver and passenger side as well as the hood that we have photographic proof were not on the car when we dropped it off. There were scratches on the hood of the car, the top of the car, the opposite side of the door they were originally working on. We let them know and they're denying that this couldn't have happened since the workers have no reason to have even been near the passenger side. But they end up saying they'll have it all fixed at their own cost which we're positive about. Through this whole process they have been so short with us and given no explanations about anything unless we pry and nag and call. They tell us they'll call us when parts come in and when things are completed as to update us and they never did we had to call nearly every day to get some sort of idea of what's going on. Rick is the manager and the main person we have been in contact with and he has been very dismissive and unorganized. When we took it back the second time for them to fix their mistakes he just walked around the car with us without taking any pictures or writing anything down while at the same time questioning if any of it was while under their care when we have photographic proof that these things were not on the car when we left it. We finally call and ask if it's ready (we're in July at this point) and they tell us yes you can come get it now. We get ready to leave and they call us back and say wait never mind Rick the manager just took a look at it and isn't happy with some things we're gonna hold onto it and fix it. I'm wondering why he wasn't called to look at it before telling us it's ready? They tell us call on Friday it should be ready. We call on Friday, and they say they have one painter who went home sick and couldn't paint over the spots they buffed out so call back Monday. At this point we're livid, this is a new car that has been in our name for 4 months they have had the car for two out of those four months. We're tired of this! The original issue was fixed back in June and should have been ready to go but due to their own workers mistakes we had to take it back in repeatedly. We took the car in on may 10th and just got it back today July 22nd. Do not ever bring your car here do not trust them with your vehicle they are careless and disorganized.

If there were an option for zero stars, it would be well earned here. After a minor fender bender involving the front driver side fender, State Farm recommended Autoworx. Seeing how Seguin is a small town, and how I would have preferred having it taken to a dealer, I really was set against her going to Autoworx. The closest dealer did not have a body shop, so our hands were tied. We dropped it off there and waited. After about a week our car was finished. When we arrived I inspected the vehicle, and right from the get go I was disappointed. The vehicle had swirl marks all down the driver side door this puzzled me, as the whole side did not need it, and furthermore, this is a "body shop" and should know how not to swirl the paint. After inspecting the door and fender, there were already signs of paint bubbling, and imperfections in the paint as if dirt were in the paint booth. We questioned them about this, and they said to bring it back in a weak, to which we did. They "fixed" the problem, however, more imperfections with the paint, and the lady behind the desk was very rude. The factory letters on the door were also crooked. She said to bring it back and they would fix it. They stated those "parts from China" were to blame and not the painter. This was a red flag, as our car was assembled in the US, Mexico, and Canada. This statement confirms they used cheap aftermarket parts and did NOT use OEM parts. They ordered a new door, to which the paint stuck to. They again buffed it and swirled the paint. This time, we glanced at a chrome piece in the corner, and it was scratched and buffed to where the chrome came off. The chrome trim looked like it was sanded down, and the shop was too lazy to tape edges. Tired of going back and forth, we let it be. My mother in law was so disappointed, she sold the car and got another similar vehicle. I feel bad for not insisting she go to the dealer. Next time, she won't go to Autoworx. Beware. Stay the hell away from this place.

After waiting about two weeks for a phone call that never came, I had to call to get an update. The parts had arrived and could I come in the next day to have to work done. I arrived on time and waited for the work to be completed. Once the work was completed the staff asked me if I had the insurance check, of course I did not have it, sounded as if the online transfer had been sent to the wrong place. At this point they wanted me to pay with a check or debit card for the remainder of the bill, then said they would not release the car until I paid the balance. If there was an issue with insurance payment, seems like it would have been professional to notify me before the work started, not after the work was completed, and wanting me to pay and with no ride home. Part of the work was a new AC condenser was installed. Now the air conditioner does not work. It would appear that no one really knows whats going on there, and after my experience, I would not let Shanafelt work on a plastic PlaySkool wagon, let alone a real automobile.
