I wanted maintenance and the bangs out of my eyes. But, I left with a totally different drastically shorter hairstyle that I didn't request. I even specifically told the stylist not to cut the sides since the stiffness of my hair causes it to stick out unless it's long enough to comb back. As you can see from the pic - the sides were cut and now stick-out. The pic also shows that the back is also awkwardly squared-off. So, I'm forced to find another stylist to fix what was done (which will sadly cause me to have an even shorter cut). I estimate it will take 3-4 months to grow back the damage done. My guess is that if you have very short hair that needs periodic maintenance, or, if you want that luxurious barbershop shave and men's spa vibe. This might be a great spot for you. They also have an entire section for mani/pedis that look super comfortable for dudes. So there's that too. But, I can't say it's a place where you'll get the cut you ask for.

I understand the difficulties of working during the pandemic and starting up your own business however I don't understand why you would decline in customer service while trying to grow your base. The last two times it felt like it was an inconvenience to him to get a cut. The nail in the coffin came when I tried to book a group cut with Jay for my wedding. While working through pricing I may have come off unclear in my questions but when asking about beard trims his response was that he hadn't cut hair for $20 in ten years which to me was off-putting.
