bought a carne asada burrito with absolutely no carne asada. it was a tortilla with literally lettuce and cream only and like 2 little pieces of fat. what a waste of money and time

I ordered a quesadilla and the flavor was just ok. It was a big portion and was served in two giant pieces making it almost impossible to eat. It was more like a burrito than a quesadilla. The torta my husband ordered was much better.

One veggie taco, one Mandarin Jarritos. $3.50

One of my favorite Mexican street fast food stops at the Long Wharf Trucks. The food is always fresh, reasonably priced and your order is out in a jiffy. What makes this truck different from the rest is the vast selection of condiments which includes taco chips, Mexican slaw, beans, roasted jalapenos, radishes, roasted baby onions, mild roasted peppers, hot peppers flakes in oil (very hot & spicy) plus your standard salsa roja, salsa verde for your tacos or whatever your menu choice. I usually have one veggie taco with all the condiments which are at no charge and you have an excellent, healthy lunch which is more than filling and at $1.50 it certainly won't break the bank!

2 lengua tacos, one cow head with the included salsa. Great value for $4.50.

One of the best tacos I have had in a long time is the lengua/tongue tacos here. Great price at $1.50, delicious and authentic. I live thirty minutes away in Ansonia and stop here whenever we go to IKEA nearby. It's so sad there is so much bad Mexican food out there when the good stuff is so simple. 2 corn tortillas, marinated meat, onion and cilantro. When I found this place, it was the best taco since I moved from California ten years ago. Mmmm.

We parked right in front of Santa Apolonia with the intention of walking down to a different truck. The gentleman taking orders stopped me & asked if I wanted a sample. He said it was the best truck. Figured "why not?" Sampled the asada. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. & even better in tacos & burritos. They had a spread of chips & salsa for free. & each dish came with fresh homestyle. AND they gave my kids some candy. So worthy. So, SO worthy. We now have our go-to!

It's a well-known spot for locals and travelers, situated off I-95 at Exit 46, and is famous for its diverse vendors and waterfront location. I have been to the Food Paradise truck many times before, but I have never been to this particular truck. Sometimes it is hard to choose a truck because there are so many to choose from. I usually use Yelp to guide me, or I find the truck with the most people or the longest line. On this particular day, there were a lot of people standing in line at this truck, so I decided to go with this one. I ordered Birria Tacos and one Al Pastor taco. The order took about fifteen minutes. The Al Pastor was delicious. The Al Pastor Taco had a nice balance of smoky, spicy, and sweet, with a savory depth. The only thing I would have added was a little more seasoning to the meat, but it was delicious. The Birria Tacos were packed with flavor and meat. The Birria Tacos were deeply savory, rich, with a crispy, cheesy interior and tender meat. The only complaint would be that they were a little burnt on the outside, and they kept the tacos on too long. The tacos were great, and I look forward to coming to try other items on the menu.
