The doctors are polite, thorough and matter-if-fact-- some people don't like that but I prefer directness. The office staff is amazing. There was an issue with a form filled out incorrectly at the hospital and had this not been corrected, I would have had to take my two week old to a hospital...during flu season! Needless to say I was worried and very upset about the err. Meanwhile, Minna at the front desk went above and beyond to contact the state, the hospital and take detailed records. She righted the wrong and saved me the aggravation, worry and frustration of taking my newborn to the hospital. I really liked the office to begin with but this act of kindness really made me feel like I picked the right place to take my child.

My children feel comfortable with her which is great for my 6yr old. She listens to me & my children's questions or concerns & provides us with her expertise or just general life experiences. It's safe to that it feels like she genuinely cares. I've been able to get appointments as soon as I need them. Appointments are carefully taken - for example: my newborn has never had to sit in an office full of sick children. She's always been the only one in the office or maybe one other kid in another room. Never in the waiting area. Wait time is only a few minutes. The receptionist Melanie (hope I spelled her name right), is super sweet & is always happy to answer a call or question. She's super helpful. This is so refreshing! The office is clean & minimal. I appreciate this since I get anxiety when there's clutter or more surfaces for germs to linger. If there is a question of whether something could benefit or improve health/progress Dr. Gordina is supportive in every way. In times of constant illness (the daycare years) her office always accommodates our needs. This includes the emergency after hours line in which Dr. Gordina will call you back herself to make sure her patient is ok and assists with what's needed. Although our visits take time, I know to plan accordingly as Dr. Gordina is going to take the time necessary to address all concerns and symptoms for the best route of care. A pediatrician you can reach for any of your concerns. Not having to go through holds or call center or agree to pay a fee just to get through to doctors answering service for them not to even call you back. She's a doctor who will be there, she seems to truly care about her chosen profession. There's never much wait in her office, because she books patients apart so they all have the time they need. After each appointment we also receive a detail email about the visit and what to watch out for. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and constantly keeping up with most current treatments and solutions. I remember asking about different kind of flu shot at our former pediatric office, because my son's arm get really painful and swollen each time, but no other option was ever available. We walked in her office, told her his problem, she gave him a nasal spray vaccine, took 2 seconds, done. No reaction what so ever. She also really tries to help cut our cost, whenever she can, by offering information about any applicable reduced/free RX.
