My experience with this clinic was extremely frustrating due to ongoing administrative and insurance issues. Fertility treatment is already physically and emotionally taxing. Patients should not have to personally investigate their insurance coverage to correct mistakes made by the clinic's staff. The medical side may be competent, but the administrative coordination was consistently disorganized. I repeatedly received incorrect or conflicting information about coverage and authorizations, which required me to spend significant time verifying details directly with my insurance provider. Several issues that should have been handled internally had to be resolved by me after the fact. Fertility treatment is already stressful enough without having to manage administrative mistakes on top of everything else. Patients should be able to rely on a clinic to accurately handle insurance, authorizations, and billing processes, but that was not my experience here. If you choose this clinic, I strongly recommend double-checking all insurance and billing information yourself and keeping detailed records of every interaction. Disappointed by Billing Practices and Lack of Accountability I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS. They are a corporation out for money, they don't care of patients. Even my acupuncturist that works with them said they used to care about patients and since they expanded the only care about money. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this fertility clinic, primarily due to their billing practices and lack of communication regarding insurance coverage. I underwent three IUIs and one medicated treatment cycle with this clinic. My first IUI cycle was covered by insurance without issue. However, for the subsequent cycles, the office began submitting diagnosis codes that did not align with my actual medical situation. As a result, my insurance denied coverage -- despite previously approving treatment. Even more concerning, required prior authorizations were not obtained when they should have been. This directly impacted my insurance coverage. Instead of correcting the issue or taking accountability, the clinic is now attempting to charge me self-pay rates for treatments that should have been covered. I am even being threatened with collections. Fertility treatment is already emotionally and financially overwhelming. Patients trust clinics not only with their health but also with proper insurance handling. Unfortunately, my experience felt more focused on revenue than patient advocacy or transparency. I strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment here double- and triple-check insurance authorizations themselves and document everything. I wish I had known to be more proactive. I strongly do not recommend IVF MD Miami or any other of their offices. I was recommended to them by my OB. I was so hopeful and enthusiastic for my visit with Dr. Palmerola. She is very nice and seems to show compassion, however her treatment approach (I later find out when I reach out to other IVF clinics for new consultations) is not appropriate from my diagnosis. My experience- First, I was told I was not an IVF candidate, only IUI. I attempted two failed IUI's and then magically I am an IVF candidate.... nothing in my condition changed. Their nurses are the ones in charge of obtaining your ultrasounds which dictate management- However, half of them do not know how to properly read ultrasounds. I was told my leading follicle was on the left, then it was on the right, then it was three, then there was one. They treat you like a factory. You wait for hours to have your blood drawn. They have some very nice staff, but others see you in the hallway requiring assistance and they completely ignore you. Horrible communication. You never get to see or talk to the doctor. No one really answers your questions- they do not even know the answers. You are paying out of pocket and no one treats you like you're not spending your life's savings. My last attempt to speak with my doctor, I am a current patient not a new patient, they could not fit me in for two weeks to speak about my current treatment plan. My IVF round, completely mismanaged and cancelled. THEN I did not get my period back for 70 days!!! They had horrible follow-up. I had to keep insisting something was wrong. I am the patient, not the medical professional, why am I the one giving you ideas on my treatment and asking for proper follow-up??? Obviously, I did not stay in this practice. Next issue, getting your refund. Apparently they take 6-12 WEEKS to refund you your money. It is absurd. Robbery! They are quick to take your full payment, but returning (Which is in their contract) they take forever! They try to make you feel desperate that you have to stay in their clinic. Stay strong ladies. South Florida is full of IVF practices, no shortages here. DO NOT go here... They waste your time, your precious follicles, and your money. I would not recommend IVFMD. Every time I called, I was left on hold for over 30 minutes before anyone picked up. The doctor consistently ran an hour behind schedule, yet if you're even a few minutes late, they cancel your appointment without hesitation. During check-in, I witnessed front desk staff laughing about patients' messages in the portal -- some of which involved people sharing how stressed and emotional they were. It was incredibly unprofessional and disheartening to see. I asked to speak with an office manager and was told no one was available. This office feels completely disorganized and poorly managed. If you're already going through something as emotionally intense as fertility treatment, this is the last environment you want to deal with. read more

I had a very positive experience with IVFMD South Miami office, overall. The doctors, nurses, and most of the staff were kind, compassionate, and made me feel genuinely supported throughout my care. However, I did have an unfortunate interaction with a supervisor named Karla (a heavier-set woman), who was condescending and gave me attitude during a very sensitive moment. Her tone and demeanor felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which stood out in an otherwise supportive and professional environment. I hope the clinic addresses this, as no patient going through something as emotionally taxing as fertility treatment should be made to feel belittled or disrespected. I am writing this review so other woman can learn about my experience with Dr. Eisermann and IVFMD South Miami and hopefully be swayed to go elsewhere. My partner and I live abroad and wanted to use my previously 10 frozen eggs to make embryos. Ultimately, the lab at IVFMD was not able to result any embryos from my previously frozen eggs and my partner's frozen sperm. However, after my experience with them I would never choose to continue my fertility journey with them and these are the three reasons why: 1. LIMITED APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY & LIMITED AVAILABILITY OF ONSITE LAB TO PROCESS EMBRYOS. Our first Telehealth consult with Dr. Eisermann was in August 2023 and was a positive experience. He ensured us that living abroad would not be an issue and that using the frozen eggs was a good idea. We had some delays in our testing due to our location however we got the go ahead to proceed with the procedure December 10th, 2023. Due to a severe lack of communication in the office and limited appointment availability, the attempt to make embryos was not scheduled in their lab until Feb 6th! That is a two month delay!! I expressed our concerns to Dr Eisermann and he admitted that he did not know why it was taking so long and blamed "human error' 1. STAFF COMMUNICATION IS IMPERSONAL AND DISORGANIZED. The staff did not have noted in our file that we lived abroad which was an important detail in our process. For example, they would not allow us to come in at 9am for the semen deposit because apparently that can only happen after 11:00 am. This caused us to further have to push back our appointments due to the fact that we were not local and that they couldn't accommodate us at what seemed like a logical time to have an appointment at a medical facility. 3. POOR BEDSIDE MANNER FROM DR. EISERMANN. Dr. Eisermann claimed immediately that we were fertile after only requesting blood tests. He never did a sonogram to look at my eggs. After I submitted my own sonogram (because I was worried that perhaps a cyst was causing me to be infertile) he said "Wow, if I had known you had this many eggs I would have recommended a fresh egg transfer" Had he initially done a proper analyzation of me as a patient he would have changed his course of recommendation for our fertility journey. In our final call to discuss our lab results (of the embryos not fertilizing), Dr. Eisermann admitted that "if I were you, I would not use our offices again either" and gave me recommendations for other fertility doctors. This should be a TELL TALE SIGN TO GO ELSEWHERE! read more

To the woman reading this: I am so sorry you're in this situation. The process is so hard so you should find a practice that supports you through this journey. Although Dr. Thompson is a gem (and she is the reason I came here) she is retiring in Sept (2025) so don't waste your time with this practice. I work in medicine and this place is a disgrace. Misinformation is given constantly by the nurses and they have very little compassion despite such an emotional process. EVERY billing statement, and I mean every single one, I received was incorrect. The first one was based on an insurance plan from 2023 even though it was 2024, the staff never took the time to look at the new plan coverage. Thankfully I know how insurance works and was able to get this corrected but I feel bad for those who aren't aware and just pay whatever they demand. I have found this office to be a heartless factory and would absolutely not recommend this place. Find a place that actually cares and gives you the right information the first time. I cannot say enough thank you's to the team who helped in the process to making our family. My wife and I made an appointment (pre-covid) with Dr. Kimberly Thompson who was recommended to us by our OB. The moment we walked into her office she gave us a hug and showed us her compassion, care, expectations and love for her career. We felt so comfortable with her from the very moment we met her. Our coordinator was Yosie and she was a godsend for us. She answered all of our questions, as repetitive as they may have been. IVF was an unknown to us and there was so much information to take in and process from injections and medication doses, times etc. The IVFMD family worked diligently to make my family and we are beyond grateful to all of the staff, especially Yosie and Dr. T for their compassion, care, knowledge, and love for their job to make my family whole. We cannot wait to go back for baby #2!! Thank you IVFMD, from the front desk staff, to the embryologist who cared for my baby, when she was just a cluster of cells. I felt like cattle being directed, poked, and prodded. Also, while in waiting rooms, you can hear the nurses talking poorly about patients. While the physician care is good, the staff turns what should be a positive medical care experience into a negative one. The financial department and care coordinators say they will do everything in their power to help you when you have an issue but then pass the responsibility along to different team members of the staff and in the end nothing gets resolved. There is simply no follow through. When you go to follow up they tell you someone else will help you. The back and forth and time wasted is absurd. Although the doctors may be good, a poorly run and chaotic office environment can significantly impact your experience in a negative way. Wait times in office can be up to 3 hours for simple bloodwork and when you ask for status updates you are met with an attitude by the front desk. It seems they are too busy and take on more patients than they can deliver proper care to. I would recommend finding an office that can deliver more consistent and compassionate care. Also, beware of their billing. They will deliver simple services like bloodwork or semen analysis in office and tell you after the fact that you owe 1k for the services rendered without checking your insurance for coverage first. We were billed for services covered by our insurance at a very high rate. This should have been communicated prior to testing and although we provided insurance information at our first visit, our insurance was not contacted until after we complained. Overall a very negative experience and we really wanted to love this place since they came recommended by a close friend. We are still receiving bills in the mail months after terminating care despite paying up front in office everything we were asked to pay including being billed again for our first consult visit which was covered by insurance and copay paid at the time of visit. read more

I went once for an consultant with one of their Doctors, she was nice but a bit young as for medical experience in my opinion. I ended up going to an Fertility center outside of Florida. The nurses, medical staff are beyond rude and ghetto, the price they quoted me for the treatment I was interested in doing was over $4,000 than any other center I visited. I met with 4 other clinics, btw. The women who draw blood as beyond aggressive and so nasty. I have been going to do outside blood work there, I stopped going because I couldn't handle their hood like behavior. South Miami is the center specifically that I was rating. read more

IVFMD is not a doctor's office- it is a business. Steer clear. If you are seeking fertility treatment, you are vulnerable, emotional, and desperate for help to have a baby. Emotionally and financially, it is draining. Save yourself any superfluous stress and find a different fertility clinic. As explained in detail below, besides waiting months for an initial consultation and a follow up consultation, an IVFMD employee stole my credit card from my purse before a procedure while I was in the bathroom and used it to order lunch delivered to the office (as well as hundreds of dollars to online retailers). Not once did Scott Roseff apologize to me or my husband for what had happened to us. Scott did not call us to explain our thousands' of dollars worth of test results. In fact, we were told we owed the business $25.00 after all was said and done. We waited months for an appointment with Scott Roseff. We finally got in for a consultation in October 2022. Roseff's desk and office is littered with paraphernalia graffitied with titles such as "#1 Baby Maker". Scott Roseff told us he would get us pregnant. He went on about Board Certification... and quizzed us to see if we knew what that meant, which was a bit off-putting. He asked for a hug after the consultation because he "is a hugger". He pretended he cared about our journey to becoming parents. We made follow up appointments for two procedures (HSG and SIS). Roseff was booked so I had to make these appointments with Dr. Gerkowicz (a very kind doctor). We were told Roseff was not available until January 2023 to go over the HSG, SIS, as well as the blood work. This was concerning but I figured this was normal in the fertility treatment world (it turns out this is not normal). The waiting was, sadly, not the worst part about IVFMD. After the HSG and SIS (both invasive procedures), I was notified by my credit card company that the credit card I used at IVFMD Boca was compromised. I saw a $50 and change charge for a local restaurant amongst the charges for hundreds of dollars to online retailers. I called the local restaurant and asked who ordered this large lunch on my credit card. The man told me, "This is strange... it was delivered to a doctor's office... address 9960 N Central Park Blvd." The address of IVFMD Boca. I contacted IVFMD Boca immediately and notified them of this. My main concern was that other patients' identities and credit cards were in danger of being compromised. I was contacted by the COO. Ultimately, the COO concluded that the medical assistant, who was in the exam room during the HSG and SIS, also had her credit card stolen and that we had the same exact credit card number, but for one digit. This was obviously implausible. This is what really happened: the medical assistant went into the exam room while I emptied my bladder before the SIS, went into my purse, went through my wallet, took a photo of my credit card (and who knows what else), and then used my credit card to order lunch (delivered to IVFMD Boca office) as well as hundreds of dollars to online retailers, Starbucks, and McDonalds. It's important to note: One thief does not make a whole business bad. I made it clear to IVFMD that I initially wanted to continue with Scott Roseff but that I wanted to put their business on notice that they had a thief in their office. However, Scott Roseff never called me or my husband to check in on us, to apologize, to say he hoped we could trust him, or to assure us that this was one bad apple in his office. No one called us to get us in earlier. In fact, no one, including Board Certified Roseff, ever called us to discuss ANY results from our thousands of dollars' worth of tests. To this date, more than three months later, Scott Roseff has yet to apologize to us or to check in. In fact, the only person who ever apologized to us and seemed sincere was Gelyssa, the nurse. read more

I have waited at least an hour for every morning monitoring appointment I have been to. I once waited three hours. They once forgot I was sitting half naked in an exam room for an hour until I called from my cell phone. For comparison, another clinic I went before moving, I never waited more than 15 minutes. This makes a huge difference when you are going every day. The billing department is not knowledgeable, and frequently messes up. Have an FSA? Good luck getting the documentation you need for backup. They say they will send, then they don't send (repeatedly). It's difficult to set up monitoring appointments on weekends or before to be seen on a Monday. Technology is outdated. They use very large needles for drawing blood, explaining that butterfly needles are save for difficult draws (butterfly/baby needles are standard at every doctor I've ever visited). To be clear - they just decide not use a slightly more expensive needle that is near painless for a patient to save money despite the high cost of IVF and frequent blood draws. Save your frustration. There are better clinics in the area. Much better experience at another clinic so far. read more

I highly recommend IVFMD. From the first day my husband and I met with Dr. Thompson, we felt very comfortable. She took a lot of time to explain to us all of our tests, options, and different scenarios that may have been the cause of our fertility issues and the possible solutions. Thanks to Dr. Thompson and all of the friendly and amazing staff at IVFMD, we're now expecting our first child. Also, don't let price scare you until you've met with a Dr. at IVFMD first. Dr. Thompson had us try all less invasive methods before suggesting IVF. Once IVF was in our cards, there were various options to finance or get discounted pricing. We used WINFertility to get a discounted price for our round of IVF and it was about $4k less that the normal price for the same treatment and medications. read more

They are stuck in the 1990s - they still do everything by telephone - no emails, no texts. Have to listen to rushed messages and try to write down your instructions. Totally disorganized. I received the wrong information regularly. No nurse assigned to a patient, so there isn't someone easily reached who knows you and your chart. Ethically questionable billing practices - even my insurance said they can't do the things they do. Most expensive place I've been. One hour wait time for early morning blood work. If you feel like wasting 24 months and thousands upon thousands of dollars, call IVFMD. Ever since Maria Bustillo retired, the office has gone to complete shit. It's a mad house. A zoo, but run by the animals. 8,000 patients in the office at any given time, so nurses who are assigned to your case have no idea who you are, regardless of how many times you're in the office weekly. For us, it's been 18 months, 2 missed ovulations, 2 failed IUI's, a completely BOTCHED sperm sample collection on IUI day, progesterone test mistaken for pregnancy test, blood samples have been misplaced, miscommunications with insurance, prescription refills have been delayed more than a handful of times regardless of time-sensitivity during cycles, and the list goes on. I wish I was allowed to fuck up at my job as much as these people fuck up at theirs. It's astounding. read more

Marta Montenegro is one of the greatest women I know. She was one of the main reasons I switched to IVFMD from another large fertility clinic in south Florida. I had two failed IUI cycles and wanted to try a different approach. After consulting Dr. Google and many infertility boards I decided on IVFMD because they had a nutritionist on staff. I made my initial appointment with Dr. Wood (Separate review for the Cooper City location) who referred us to Marta. Marta ordered blood work for things I didn't t even know existed. I remember them taking at least 15 vials of blood for me and maybe 8 for my husband. At our next appointment, Marta went over every result in great detail sometimes drawing diagrams to help explain it better. She wasn't condescending. She was demanding and set high expectations. She was open to small negotiations like allowing for some bison as a substitute for beef. The supplements can be costly if you have a lot of deficiencies. Initially it was a challenge having my husband buy into taking some many pills 3 times a day, but he quickly became a believer when he began to feel and see results. Every two to three weeks we saw her and she would celebrate our victories and provided support and encouragement if we fell short of our goals. The turning point with her was when she noticed my prolactin level was off. She alerted Dr. Wood and I began treatment the next week. My husband and I conceived naturally my next cycle. While I had a successful myomectomy with Dr. Wood, Marta's attention to detail no doubt helped us to conceive naturally. She even predicted correctly we were having a girl. I continued seeing Marta through my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I gave birth prematurely but I credit my daughter's health in the NICU to Marta and will forever be grateful of her role in our journey. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She is always reading and incorporating the latest research and has made the commitment to be a lifelong learner. With Marta you will have a professional who will help you make the best decision customized for you and your partner's success. I'm not sure if the South Miami office isn't as busy as the Cooper City office but Marta was ALWAYS on time with her appointments. If you're coming from the Cooper City office it is a drive but it's worth the trip. South Miami and the surrounding area is a great place for a last meal before you start your lifestyle change. ;) The nutrition services are a separate price and your insurance cannot be used. Disclaimer my cousin is one of the medical Assistants at this location. Honestly she didn't know we were seeking treatment until she saw us at our appointment. I was very foolish to not speak with her about IVFMD in the begging of our journey, but I was dealing with self-imposed stigma of infertility at that time. My experience with Rosario was amazing she works directly with Marta and is excellent with scheduling and very friendly. I was referred to dr eissemen. Every visit I left more sad and hopeless. His arrogance and ego make the appointments very awkward. Every question answered with sarcasm, like I was supposed to know the answers. He said I had 1% chance of getting pregnant even with ivf and that he recommended laparoscopy surgery before trying ivf. I knew 3 other patients that went to him and they all got the same laparoscopy recommendation. And only one had a successful pregnancy after that. Keep in mind he makes a lot of money for these surgeries and procedures. And he still wasn't sure that a laparoscopy would help my case. I would need at least 2-3 months to recover to then try considering ivf. I ended up declining surgery. He said my only option is donor egg then. I got information and they recommended egg donors from their own clinic. I wasn't sold on the idea. So I left and asked Ana for my $4,000 IvF deposit back since he said he wouldn't do IVF as initially planned. My insurance covers ivf and I paid copays on every visit. Ana said she got some misinformation from my insurance and that the doctor missed one screening procedure required by the insurance company. I wasn't doing ivf anymore so that shouldn't matter. In the end and after much arguing they kept $2,000 of my deposit. I didn't want to deal with them anymore. But I feel they stole from me. Forward to 6 months later, a miracle happened and I'm pregnant naturally. Ladies, God works in mysterious ways. Don't give up hope! read more

My wife and I had a fertility treatment done recently at this clinic and our experience was NOT pleasant. Since the beginning we were treated like cattle. Nurses and Staff were generally unprofessional, very rude, and lacking with the exception of a few. Emails with the Coordinator were late. Response time took days, even if it was an emergency. Our Nurse Post FET was impossible to reach and negligent, finally told us to seek assistance elsewhere during week 7 of follow-ups, while usually they stay with their patient until weeks 12-14. We are very DISPLEASED with our choice and DO NOT recommend this clinic for patients who seek personal, one on one treatment. If you value your money's worth, please choose ANY OTHER clinic. read more

In August 2021 my husband and I had an appt. with the Naples office. Made this appt. month and a half prior, filled out paperwork, Appt. was confirmed day before the whole nine. When we got there my husband who took off from work, myself and my 2 yr. old after waiting for a good 10 minutes before we were greeted, we were told that my 2 yr. old was not allowed to be with us in our appt. due to Covid. NEVER in our conversation with the times I spoke with the office did they say anything about COVID policies and that no children were not allowed. This was our first time hearing about no children in their office. After several attempts with giving us an opportunity to let us go through the appt. and the fact that we were not going to leave our child alone... we now have an altercation with three insensitive, uncaring and completely useless women telling us that they adamantly told us about their COVID policy and children. If that were to be the case we would've taken proper measures to get a babysitter.  Moments after with this nonsense, one woman said they would retrieve the recorded conversation on what was said on the phone call and get back to us. We never heard a word back until 2 weeks later that we received a "discontinue of care" letter" from the South Miami office Oscar Machado (Chief Operating Officer) stating the displeasure of the whole experience within the 20 minutes of our first and only encounter. Someone in his position could have called us as well to get the full story since he was not present.   instead of offering an apology of their NON compassionate ways and their lack of miscommunication from their staff they shut us off completely with a cowardly letter. This was so distasteful and disheartening to us because of the emotional nature of our reason of going in the first place. We were looking forward to our appt. and having hopes. Never have we experienced and been treated so cruel by a place that is suppose to care and have bedside manners. We as a couple are very much hurt and displeased by the whole experience. read more

This practice worked just fine for us. They're very diligent compared to your regular doctor's office. Dr. Soto is really nice and understanding, he provides real care to his patients and makes you feel very secure. Our experience at this office was good and I wish I could stay with them just for regular visits. I can't complain about the wait time everything was great even their prompt response to questions or even the doctor making himself available for anything. I think my only observation would be for the Billing dept. That is not as dilligent as others and you kind of have to be on top of them but otherwise the experience at this office is excellent. Staff not professional except a couple of super nice nurses,always infinite waiting time, emails/phone calls often ignored duing treatments. I started seeing Marta Montenegro over a year ago and she has become a staple in my life. She has an innate ability to know what each individual needs in order to meet personal goals. Not just nutrition wise but for lifestyle as well. I have made so much progress with her b/c its all about changing your habits and your life. You need to put solid practices in place so that you continue them throughout your entire life. And I can honestly say that I will continue to use what she has taught me. I am still seeing her and will continue to see her. She has been an invaluable ally to me, even when I wasn't to myself. read more

I WOULD NOT recommend this group practice at all. The staff is either over worked or not properly trained. The billing dept is simply a nightmare. They have no idea what they are doing. They emailed me a treatment plan for over $4700 when I have insurance that covers IVF and my copay should have been around $300. When I brought it to their attention it was either pay or your appointment will be canceled. I paid knowing I would get a refund once my insurance paid and that is where the nightmare only got worse. They only do refunds one day a month. They make excuse after excuse to delay the process. After waiting almost 5 months for a refund they wanted my same credit card that I used to pay. Since my card had expired they wanted to take out 3% from my refund. Unbelievable! The office charges for things they aren't allow to like room fees. If you are paying to transfer an embryo into our uterus the fee includes the room being used. Not with this office. They want $650 for the room. My insurance told them they can't do that. Finally they agreed to write off the fee. As if they were doing me a big favor. Every appointment they run between 45-2 hours behind. I came in on a Saturday and waited 2 hours Bc the dr was late!!!! No apologies from the staff or Dr. Again the attitude if you don't like it leave. I will not be returning! read more

I had a great experience working with the Doctors and staff at IVFMD. I went to the South Miami location and worked with Dr. Soto. This is the larger office, and they always worked with me to make sure I could get an appointment and they made the stress of scheduling really easy. Everyone that works there is really warm and friendly. It was so helpful that they were open limited hours on the weekends for procedures that were critical and time specific. There was a longer wait time on the weekends but to be expected, and at least they were open! During a really stressful time in my life I couldn't have been more pleased with the care and treatment I received, and luckily we got our happy outcome! Dr. Soto was really great to work with, I would 100% recommend him to any of my friends in Miami. I didn't work much with the other doctors here, but he was a pleasure to work with and was genuine and warm. Only tip would be to get on email terms with your doctors nurse - trying to call is a challenge since you have to leave a message. If you do the encrypted emails with your nurse you can communicate much easier in my opinion. read more

Three years ago I received treatment at the ivf in south Miami with Dr Eisermann.Because of my age and my previous hystory of endometriosis I only qualified for one tried out which it cost me as close as 20.000 between hormones and the actual process.I thought that regardless of the uncoordinated and unprofessional attitude of the front desk , I should give a chance to the doctor who was highly recommended by one of my patients whose daughter have been treated by him. As the process continued my stress level got higher and higher due to the incompetence of certain nurses in the office while addressing me as patient and leaving me for 45 minutes pending an ultrasound more than once .I understood since I work in the dental field and sometimes you can be running late.But what really upsets me at this point is to find out 3 years later after loosing my faith back then at IVFMD and just getting a consultation and preliminary tests done recently with Dr Joelle E Taylor at Fertility and IVF center of Miami that I was positive for ureaplasma.A bacteria that can cause miscarriage and can not be detected by a gynecological exam.Only the specialist should run that test before any TX of ivf as preliminary routine. I can not believe how many other people have been exposed to this negligence at the IVFMD in South Miami specially when a simple test can make a difference in those we go through an emotional and expensive treatment like Ivf. At this point all I can say is that I am thankful that I was recommended to get a second opinion with Dr Taylor who is extremely professional and who skills and knowledge in the field are beyond my expectations at the fertility and ivf center of Miami located in Baptist hospital and will highly recommend.I got really disappointed when I heard that call from the nurse yesterday thinking that 3 years ago Dr Eisermann should have tested me for it before exposing me to a TX like that .But God is great and least now I am in the right hands of Dr Taylor and look forward to a better and successful TX if God allows it. read more
