About two weeks before delivery, I confirmed with him that he was absolutely sure he could handle the project. We reviewed the project on Google Earth and he told me he had visited the job site. He was absolutely sure he could handle the project. We worked together to finalize the ship-date, which I then coordinated with the manufacturer and client. The service was scheduled for a Monday morning at 8:00 am. On that Thursday, less than two business days prior, he called and told me he could not do the job. He said he visited the client's home and decided that the reach was too far. Really? He advertises booms with plenty of reach, we reviewed the job in detail before hand and he had already told me he had visited the job site. I don't believe his excuse, I believe he was 100% ready to go and a different opportunity arose so he dropped me in the 11th hour. I was committed to accepting delivery of a hot tub and swim spa and G&S COMPLETELY LEFT ME HANGING. I had to scramble and was able to book Mountain Crane, who is about an hour from the job site. Mountain Crane did an outstanding job, but because they are not local, the service cost me about three times what it should have cost me. Does anyone think Steve is going to cover my profit loss for canceling on me without giving me enough time to find a different local provider?

I worked with Ben and he was able to move my 40' shipping container into position without any…read moretroubles. It was to be placed in the proximety of a power line, so he took the initiative to contact Utah Power to make sure we could safely place the container. Getting the OK is not always an easy process, so I was grateful he took the lead in getting all of the approvals so I didn't have to worry about it. Once all that was done, he called to say let's do this, and i met him and was able to assist a little. He picked up the container swung it over a tree and placed it exactly where it needed to be in just a matter of minutes (once it was all set up). In total, he was there less than two hours. I'm very happy with the service he provided.
