Unfortunately, the lack of communication and professionalism added unnecessary stress during what should have been one of the happiest days of my life. The coordinator was consistently slow to respond to my messages, sometimes taking days to get back to me, and never followed up with a wedding day timeline. I ultimately had to create and send her a timeline that I had worked on with my DJ. She also stated that she would contact my vendors to make sure everything was confirmed and ready to go, but I ended up having to reach out to all of them myself. Things became even more concerning when she canceled on Thursday, the day of our wedding rehearsal, citing a work emergency. Then, on the actual wedding day, she canceled her services after she was already running late, again citing a family emergency. While I understand that emergencies can happen, having these issues arise on such important days, especially after the ongoing communication problems, was incredibly disappointing and left me without the coordination support I had booked and expected. She did refund my deposit, which I appreciate, but that was the bare minimum given the circumstances. A refund does not make up for the stress, last-minute uncertainty, and lack of support surrounding such an important milestone. I still have not received an apology. I booked a day-of coordinator so I could enjoy my wedding without worrying about managing vendors and timelines myself. Instead, I had to take on those responsibilities. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage future couples to carefully consider the level of communication, reliability, and professionalism they expect before booking with Envious Trends.
