My experience at this store was a complete nightmare. I purchased a Luminox watch from this store in the Lennox mall. I had not done my research unfortunately on the watch I picked out and at the store it was priced at $495 including tax. It was the black out model with a rubber strap. Awesome looking. I bought it and was given a discount of no tax so I thought i got a bargain. Three weeks after I went into the " It's about time" store in Kennesaw and saw the exact same watch for 395 with a 20% discount off of that 395 price tag. So they were selling the exact same watch for $316.00 instead of $495.00. So I spoke to the store manager and a store associate and they were great guys. They encouraged me to talk to my bank. And they assured me that they would be speaking to their luminox sales rep about the situation. The guys told me that they have heard bad things about the Lennox location and were sad because it is an independently owned store and there is no corporate oversight for issues like this. I proceeded to drive to the Lennox store and spoke to the same guy who sold me the watch and addressed my concern with him about the watch. He stated that he has a no return policy and when I showed him the actual price of the watch online and at the other location he said there is nothing he can do and said he doesn't care that he is overselling. I've walked by this place for 3 years in lenox mall and never stopped in because the name kind of threw me off... Today around 6:00pm I used Yelp to find a jewelry store that was open so I could get my new watch sized. The first one to come up was It's about time so I drive right over. As soon as I stepped inside I was pleasantly surprised. It was bright and shiny and there was an attentive person at the front who greeted me right away. While I waited to have my watch sized I looked around and of course had plenty to look at! They have a huge selection of jewelry and watches. Everyone I interacted with was very kind and helpful. I had my watch sized in a matter of 10 minutes for $15 and even got some prices on some beautiful watches! As soon as I entered the store James greeted me and asked me "what can he do to help?" I really appreciate him for that because many associates in stores do not do that anymore. I was getting my battery replaced in a MK WATCH and James explained in details of the warranty that they provide 3 - 5 years. He also cleaned my watch for free. Not to mention, James told me that it would take 15 minute to replace the battery. It took him only 10 minutes with the clean. I really appreciate his great customer service and his great humor. A friend recommended this place to repair my old Tissot which I had unsuccessfully repaired several times and several places. I knew that it was more than a battery replacement. The gentleman who attended to me assessed the situation, told me what was wrong, cautioned me about the repair that he was attempting and replaced the battery with a 1-year warranty. As he warned, the watch stopped working 11 months later. They replaced the battery without charge - I had forgotten about the 1-year warranty. I stopped by a few days after Christmas to have my fossil watch battery replaced. I thought I was visiting a specialty kiosk but I learned that they have an entire watch store with all kinds of watch and battery and several styles for each. They offered buffing and engraving service on my watch and it was all at a very reasonable price. Will certainly bring my other watches here to be serviced! I just visited the It's About Time in Lenox Mall to have a new battery put in a watch I did not buy from them and they were very helpful, considerate of my time, and friendly. I have found that other watch places became stuck up and rude when I said I didn't buy the watch from them and just needed a new battery, not this place!! I highly recommend going to them. ATL grew and so did my arm piece style ...They have all the brands and they service which to me is the Best... I'm a simple man, but I have eccentric taste in watches ..that's why I've been going there. They cleaned and replaced my battery on a fine watch. It was not busy so they were able to get it done in under 15 minutes. I thought the price was fair, and the cleaning appears to be done well, as it's much cleaner than when I brought it in. The location is a little hard to find. My Movados battery died and I brought it here to get it replaced. Not really a repair but it's my everyday watch so it had a lot of noticeable scratches. They suggested to buff it out and make it look as good as new. I agreed and for $175 my Movado looked just about as good as it possibly could have the day I bought it 4 years ago. Friendly with fast service. The problem is the cost. I got a basic watch battery and the charge was 30 dollars! I've had a lot of watch batteries but this is by far the most expensive. I should have asked but, I assumed it would be around the same as every other time I've had a battery replaced. For the price This battery should be able to jump start my car and help me shave. At first glance the shop looks a bit expensive...but look deeper...there are treasures here! Clocks, watches, fine jewelry. Prices are reasonable. staff is friendly. This business has been in town a long time. I take all my watch repairs here. Battery replacement in a few minutes, new bands, etc. Repairs are quick, as long as parts are available.
