It can be a little overwhelming as there's a lot happening in their small little kitchen area and most of it is in very lively/spirited Italian. But the line moves quick enough (I actually thought the time the sandwiches takes to prepare was part of the charm as you can tell he's really taking care of each sandwich). The sandwich itself isn't really a cut of meat I would choose to order normally but for what it was it was actually quite tasty-fatty and juicy with a well buttered bun. I probably wouldn't eat this type of sandwich again but for the try this was a really solid option. Small point, I very much appreciated how abundant their napkin station is with such a potentially messy meal.

It is close to Piazza Della Signoria but also somewhat hidden. I saw another stand and what sets them apart is he was boiling the pots with the lampredotto and the tripe, and he dips the bread into the broth as he prepares the sandwich. He asked if we've ever had a cow stomach lining sandwich. We asked, as in Tripe? He said, this is not traditional Tripe but in the Tripe neighborhood. It is the fourth and final stomach of the cow or Reed Tripe. Okay, let's see if this is much different. In the middle of a small square (Dante's) this spot is one of a couple of kiosks. Check hours as they are open later than posted inf. Our Tour Guide advised us to mention his name and we can get a sandwich and wine for $5 Euros. Don't think this spot got the memo but no matter this is reasonably priced street food. To the sandwich-oh it's delicious. This version is topped with a slightly spicy tomato sauce with a touch of chimichuri style sauce. The broth the Tripe has been cooked in is soaked up by the bread which gives it the just right soft texture. So rich, saucy and the Tripe is so tender. Wow! According to our Guide this spot has the best Lampredotto in Florence. One of those local flavors that all have an opinion on which spot's version is the best. They had other Sammie's (Bollito-Italian Beef) and sides. When in Firenze this sandwich is a must try!

This was a tasty treat that gives more bang for the buck. My husband and I were both surprised this sandwich wasn't as moist as it appeared on the show, particularly since the meat is soaked in juices. Suffice to say it was still a tasty but crazy simple sandwich. The pork tripe made to taste this good is phenomenal. When was approached the window, we didn't know which sandwich to order, so we asked the safe question about which one Tucci tasted, and of course the man knew which one. This food truck is a popular one or obvious reasons, as I'm sure we aren't the only ones to visit because of Tucci. In fact we showed up at about 4 PM on a Saturday and the man had already closed shop for the day because he ran out of food. Fortunately, we made it the next day, and were able to enjoy it then.

Being a curious bee I couldn't help but go up to it and check out what all the commotion was about. Boy, was I glad the one time in my life for being a curious bee. We saw people eating off of this plastic tray and it was just meat and bread. The smell was delicious! I knew that we had to wait our turn and get our hands on some. what was it? bollito also known as boiled beef. it comes with parsley sauce and chili for 4.50 euros. if you don't eat super spicy i would ask them to put less chili or remove some. it will make you break into a sweat and numb your tongue. it was worth every penny! the cart is ran by a husband and wife team. it was so good my hubby and i kept thinking of it and decided to come back the next day! i totally recommend coming here and trying the bollito!!! you won't be disappointed. I ordered the lampredotto in zimino (sauce with vegetables). My advice for anyone who is a bit wary, just try it. It isn't at all like tripe (tripe has a weird texture). You shouldn't come here expecting an elegant atmosphere or even wait service. If you want some quick delicious, fried goodies packed up in paper cones, you've found your home. My 5-star approval is solely on the calamari, it is one of the best I have ever had.
