I have attended several estate sales conducted by these ladies and have noticed in the past how much the complained about everything, including customer. I can usually ignore it, but today (3/19/22) was the last straw. I was in line behind another gentleman who wanted to buy a book and inquiring about the price. He changed and said sorry, but he was interested in putting his money towards something in the house, and he put the book back where he found it. What happened next really shocked me, before he left the table the lady employee turned to me and started to insult him and degrade him for changing his mind. Mind you, the man was within ear-shot and heard the whole. He really could have went off at her, he stoped at the table and looked at her for a few seconds and gathered his thoughts. Her face turned so pale white because she knew by looking at his face how angry he was. But, he simply said thank you and left the carriage house/garage. He showed amazing restraint, because she really deserved a lesson in manners and customer service
I agree with his decision, she was not worth his breath to explain to her how low she was. I immediately put down what I was planning to buy and left behind him. I exited the yard, as he went into the house - I assume to speak to the person in charge. But considering all the A to Z ladies are likely cut from the same cloth, they would ignore what transpired. I will never shop one of their sales again, because of how they treat customers. read more
