If you need a dedicated, attentive, professional and respectful agent, ask for Tanner. He has…read morehelped me handle all of my insurance concerns since I switched over to Mercury a year ago. He responds to emails right away and will return your calls within a few hours unlike other insurance agents that I've dealt with in the past where they never call you back. Choosing Kessler and Tanner have been the best decision I've ever made. Would recommend them 100/10.

This is directly aimed at the "helpful" representative (Cynthia). I think that was her name anyway…read more I called this company today 9/2/26 around 3:20pm in the hopes of a little compassion and understanding, considering we're on the hunt for auto insurance. The individual I spoke with was not compassionate about our situation, although it's a lose-lose, a little kindness and compassion would have been very appreciated. I was met with judgmental remarks from her, as if I don't already understand the situation. "I'm well aware", was my response to her rebuttals and out-of-line comments about our situation. Do better as a human, Cynthia. Do better as a person who needs to be trained and educated on proper phone etiquette, and again compassion, which was warranted, but not received, unfortunately. She ended up hanging up on me in a desperate attempt to get rid of me. Hanging up on a potential client is also not proper phone etiquette. I never once became aggressive or rude, I just simply asked her to remain focused at the task on hand and I didn't need her comments about OUR situation, or her very out-of-line comments. I truly hope the call was recorded and I hope management takes this review seriously because this should never happen to another person seeking help from their business! Addendum: my call was made to your business at 3:22pm yesterday. I don't think you have my cell number, which would have been provided to you had you requested it in a private message. I absolutely did call, how would I randomly know your employee's name otherwise? Oh, and yes, I was abruptly hung up on. I never became rude, defeated absolutely. I would offer you to research a little harder, a call around 3:20-3:22 9/2 and listen to the call yourself. My name is the same as what I presented to Cynthia. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to email you.

After more than 30 years as a loyal Farmers Insurance customer, insuring my vehicles and two homes,…read moreI can confidently say that leaving Farmers was one of the best decisions I've made. What happened to me after three decades of loyalty was absolutely disgraceful. For years, I was insured through the David Gathing agency on Mount Vernon Avenue in San Bernardino. I had excellent service and a grandfathered homeowners policy that included fire coverage at approximately $700 per year. Everything was fine until my longtime agent retired and my policies were transferred to the Farmers office on Cherry Avenue in Fontana. That's when the nightmare began. I was told that my existing policy was no longer appropriate because it included coverage for occasional Airbnb rentals, something I rarely did anymore. I specifically insisted on keeping my grandfathered policy, but I was warned that Farmers might refuse to pay a claim because my coverage supposedly no longer matched how I used the property. I was assured that switching policies would cost approximately the same amount. That turned out to be completely false. My annual premium went from $700 to $1,800, and eventually to an outrageous $3,000! That's more than FOUR TIMES what I had originally been paying! I believe I was misled into surrendering a valuable grandfathered policy that I had maintained for years. Once it was gone, so was the affordable coverage I had worked to preserve. Whether this was deliberate deception or gross incompetence, the result was the same: I was the one who paid the price. As if that weren't enough, my policies were shuffled from the original Mount Vernon office to Agent Theresa Vasquez in the Cherry ave office in Fontana and eventually to Amar's Farmers Insurance office in Highland. The final straw was the disorganization at the Highland office, including problems handling my California FAIR Plan fire insurance coverage. After 30 years, I had absolutely had enough. What kind of insurance company treats a loyal, longtime customer this way? Apparently, 30 years of faithfully paying premiums means very little when it comes to protecting the customer. My experience left me feeling deceived, taken advantage of, and completely betrayed by a company I had trusted for three decades. My advice: Think very carefully before doing business with Farmers Insurance, particularly if you have an older grandfathered policy. Do not surrender that coverage based on verbal assurances. Get everything in writing, including the exact replacement premium and coverage terms. Farmers had my business for 30 years. They will never get another dime from me. Never again.

Zero star ratings. This insurance is barely surviving off their income I'm sure by the empty lobby…read morethat used to have a dozen of desks full of employees. Now they resort to Taking advantage of all little things they can to not pay your claim. If you get them be careful because the agents aren't there to help you figure anything out just cash out your money. They emphasize reading the fine print because they aren't obligated to inform you of anything according to supervisor Adriana. Also according to Adriana the supervisor If you call to renew your policy and they ask you if your address is the one listed and you say no! And give them the right address technically you didn't call to update your address because that's not what you initially called for so they can't help you with that!!! You have to renew the policy then call again and tell them to change your address in two different phone calls!!! I tried changing my address various times over the phone but apparently no records exist because I didn't call specifically for that ! Make sure there's a paper trail and keep every single document you sign because they're counting on you not having anything. They fail to send you any information about your policy or claim unless it's for a late fee. So put on your calendar when your policy expires because they for sure aren't gonna let you know to renew it so they can charge you the re activation fee. You can go here, just be careful they might not end up paying your claim. It's giving calculated fraudulent company. (ALLEGEDLY) stay safe out there!! And be sure to know they're NOT here to help you and you better collect all that evidence or you're fucked and that's all on you and not their problem! their recorded phone calls apparently mean nothing so leave a paper trail always !!! it's inconvenient to have to go to the store for everything but that's what's needed here !!!! apparently because their agents don't know any protocols or the agent that supposedly changed my address would've had me sign a document. If only I would've known !! But again that's not their problem!!! :)

They were good explaining what I needed. Very helpful. Would recommend to others and I will keep…read morecoming here in the future
