Fresh, tasty sushi near Jardin de Luxembourg that we stumbled upon while walking home after a morning at the park. We chose classic, tame sushi and weren't disappointed.
The miso soup and cabbage salad are prepared differently than in the US, which was a welcome introduction. Cabbage is closer to sauerkraut, which I like. The soup was less seaweed and the broth has more body. Both good.
We ordered the sushi boat, which is mostly sake and maguro, plus a sake sushi plate, and chicken katsu. All were good. The katsu is served on a bed of rice with an egg omelet as a middle layer.
The staff is friendly and attentive - good service. read more
