I showed up on time and was taken for service immediately. When you walk in it has your typical salon vibe with mirrors and chairs for service. My hairdresser was Giana and she was amazing. She was super nice and fulfilled all my needs. She asked what I was looking for and completed my look. They use WOW hair products which is good for me because my hair responds really well to them. I think I called three times before finalizing, and she never made me feel rushed or annoying--just informed and confident in my decision. Small tip: if you plan to have hair and makeup services at your venue, coordinate with your artists early to determine what time you'll need venue access. You might be surprised at how long it takes to complete hair and makeup! After booking, Tim was prompt, kind, and professional with email communication, and the team was very gracious and accommodating with an unforeseen change along the way. On the wedding day, we had Gia and Robin, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived very prepared--even bringing extra lighting and extension cords. They were calm, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. Exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding morning. Gia did my hair and makeup plus three additional hair services, and Robin handled six other makeup services. Everyone--including our moms--was thrilled with how they looked. My mom even mentioned it again the day after the wedding, which really says a lot. Gia truly listened to me. I talked through everything: my uneven eyelids (lol), bald spots along my hairline, inspiration photos, likes and dislikes, and my history of sensitive eyes with false lashes (usually they start poking out of my eyelids by the end of the night when done by other makeup artists). Gia had a solution for everything. She modified the placement/sizing of the false lashes, used a color filler for the bald spots, and chose a latex-based lash glue for extra strength (my lashes stayed perfectly intact all night--even after happy tears!). When my under-eye area began to crease, Gia not only adjusted the makeup but also applied a special serum to help keep it smooth. The result was lovely, comfortable, and lasted all night. I am so grateful for Gia and Robin--they are talented, thoughtful, and truly care about their clients. As soon as I met Jenn I felt right at home and she flawlessly executed my vision for my big day (I saved a few photos on my phone for reference). On the day of my wedding, Jenn showed up early to make sure everything stayed on schedule. My Mom & Mother-in-law had some concerns about their makeup looking too heavy (they both have mature skin) but Jenn was able to put their minds and ease and made them look/feel absolutely gorgeous! How was I suppose to find someone to better suit my needs being an out of town guest with an event taking place in less than 18 hours of my event? Though a full refund was provided a phone call in my opinion should have been made to clear all matters. Or a referral to other make up artists within the area would have been a more suitable option. I understand we are in a technologically advanced era and many businesses within the beauty industry want you to refer to their style seat pages, however all information is not listed and there are questions and or clarification that some customers will need that is not stated on the website. Since I knew that there would be a photographer, videographer and that I would be displayed on the big screen, I needed a makeup artist. After hours of unsuccessful searching, my partner contacted Nicola at 6pm the evening before my event. Nicola committed to fitting me into her schedule the very next day and was willing to meet me at my hotel. I have a lot of skin discoloration these days and was a bit skeptical that Nicola would have the right makeup shades to suit my face.
