For a family of five we ordered three skewer platters (two chicken and one beef kebabs). Since we were particularly hungry, I think that we would have benefitted from ordering another plate or two (each plate came with two kebabs), but it was all delicious! We especially liked the bread that they provided, and I enjoyed the hummus and baba ghanoush as well. The meat was very tender and soft, and the wait staff was also very courteous. After a few days of eating European food, it was nice to just eat some chicken and rice. I won't be returning to Switzerland for a while, so I unfortunately won't be able to come back to Layaly Beirut, but I leave this review here so that others may try the tasty Lebanese cuisine served at this establishment.

The salad was so refreshing, with a light tasty sauce and really nice crackers. I wasn't impressed with the falafel - I tend to like mine a little bit crispier and with more taste than the one here. The hummus was pretty good, and the eggplant hummus was absolutely amazing. The beef was good too - there were small little beef pieces, which were chewy (there was one that was TOO chewy); there was one minced beef "sausage" that was a little spiced (I thought it was great and not at all spicy, but my mom thought it was quite spicy), and another minced beef "sausage" that wasn't spiced. All the classics - salad with tahini dressing, hummus, babaganoush, grape leaf roll (just one lol) as well as some other dishes like green beans and eggplant in stewed tomato, and some fritters that were not exactly falafel. I think they were made with corn meal... that's not falafel lol. They still tasted delicious! There was also a little fried spinach snack and roasted potatoes. When I shared the pics with my friend, she immediately said why do they have potatoes that's not classic Lebanese, haha! Ethnic cuisine in Milan is okay.
