Filling, healthy, tasty, vegetarian, and just €5. They also have kebabs, etc. It's a bit easy to miss from the street, so keep your eyes peeled. Indoor seating or street-side patio. This little place looks like a typical fast food place, but looks can be deceiving. The downstairs…read moreportion of the restaurant is tiny and you can't eat upstairs unless you order a full dinner. The downstairs is two tiny high tops for two and one that might fit three plus a few tables out front. I mention that so when you go, not to expect a sit down experience. The food was nothing that other places don't make, but was so good. I had a simple shawarma wrap and a side of baba ghanoush. Both were excellent. The shwarma was beef and lamb, which I ordered with the Toum and hot sauce, as well as the standard onions, pickled veggies, and tomatoes, and it was small. But every bite was perfect! I don't know why or how, but the little wrap could have been the best thing I ate the entire trip, and believe me when I say that I ate a lot. I have eaten shwarma and/ or kebabs from dozens of places in dozens of cities and I can't say that I have had better. I ate great shwarma at Taza on Queensway and throughout London in the 90s, but bite for bite, this was as good or better. I hope my glowing review doesn't set the bar impossibly high, because it's the simplicity that makes this little sandwich so good. It's also in a fun and vibrant neighborhood near the Pompidou Center, so I would highly recommend this for lunch or even a hearty snack for someone who may be walking all day.

You will definitely want the "galette" as the soft fluffy bread is cooked to order. The eggplant is smooth, the falafels are soft and flavorful, not crunchy or greasy, and the sandwiches are wrapped and filled with sauce and fresh vegetables just enough to not make a mess. We finally scored a bench spot this time, but usually you will have to wander a bit to find seating.
